The whole team at the California Skin Institute is wonderful. I needed urgent treatment for a persistent skin allergy. They fit me in the same day I called. The receptionist, Juanita, went above and beyond in scheduling and sending my medical records to my primary doctor. She was both professional and very friendly and helpful. Kathleen was a fantastic nurse practitioner who explained the problem as well as the multi week solution. She wrote me a prescription and I followed her advice regarding care. I already feel improvement the day after. So obviously, I think she’s great! Soraya, the assistant, was also super nice and professional when she took my medical history. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Henderson for years and I highly recommend him and the practice.

Juanita was wonderful helping and guiding me with registration. Dr Henderson was excellent! First time in his office. I’ll sure be back if I need to. In all, I had a great experience with everyone I came in contact with.

Dr. Gregory Henderson in Newport Beach is the. absolute best dermatologist/mohs surgeon ever! He is extremely knowledgeable, skilled and very kind!!! His entire staff is awesome! Plus they have an amazingly well stocked area of free samples! Posted by the gal who loves Sloths!

Without doubt Dr Henderson is the finest dermatologist that has treated me in my 80 plus years. His expertise and wide range of skills exceed all of my expectations. I feel incredibly fortunate to have met and selected Dr Henderson as my dermatologist...I thank you for diagnosing and resolving my multiple skin irregularities.

I saw Dr. Murphy-Rose last year, my first and last appointment with her. I had terrible bug bites from a trip to Mexico and my skin was still irritated a month after the trip with red bumps appearing every so often. Dr. Murphy-Rose took one look at my skin and said it was bed bugs with no proper examination. She was incredibly condescending whilst explaining bed bugs and I left the appointment in shock and very upset. Two weeks later, I got a second opinion with another dermatologist who suggested a blood test and I found out I had a lingering infection from the bites and was prescribed antibiotics. Avoid her at all costs, one of the worst doctors I have ever encountered.

First time seeing Dr. Henderson. Everything was great ! Initially, my appointment was booked a month out, but there was a cancellation and they were able to reschedule me for a few days out. The ladies working and running the practice were all super nice and helpful. Dr. Henderson saw me promptly. Maybe a 3 minute wait in the exam room which was great. At other doctors it can take 30-40 minutes ! Dr. Henderson clearly was a good system in place. He was very personable and examined my moles and some things I had concerns about. He recommended freezing a couple spots and took photos for future reference and comparisons. He was quick, but thorough. It was a great visit and I definitely recommend seeing him !!!

Dr. Henderson and his assistant were on time, friendly, attentive and thorough with my skin check this morning. I ended up getting a dreaded biopsy on tip of my nose, but the procedure was rather quivk and painless. 😄
