CASCADA Thermal Springs + Hotel

My friend and I had such a lovely experience at Cascada. From the moment we arrived, the check-in team was friendly, welcoming, and informative, which set the tone for a relaxing evening. The locker rooms were clean, dry, and well maintained, always a big plus. For a Sunday night, it felt spacious and peaceful. We had plenty of room to both unwind and actually enjoy a quiet conversation, which made the experience feel especially restorative. The pools and temperature variety were spot-on, everything felt thoughtfully calibrated for true relaxation. We also have to shout out the bartender, who was friendly, funny, and made the bar feel warm and inviting, plus we loved hearing about the new bar opening soon! Overall, it was a wonderful visit and we’ll absolutely be back. Thank you, Cascada, for creating such a beautiful and relaxing space.

Amazing experience. The Spa was so nice and enjoyable, I felt more relaxed than I thought I would. Will definitely be going again! The atmosphere is astounding and very comfortable. The amenities were wonderful, infinite towels, water stations present all around, private locker rooms and an extensive 3 part spa with saunas, steam, mild, warm and hot springs along with cold plunge and cold rain shower outside. Absolutely stunning, highly recommend. The price is absolutely worth it, especially if you’re just interested in the spa

Cascada really put a lot of thought into their hotel rooms, making them very livable! We had a two bedroom suite with a full kitchen & living room. It was amazing to walk into and see how nice & comfortable the room was! The bed is super nice with pillows to die for! The front desk was very welcoming & accommodating to our needs. We also had the spa option as a part of our room. I truly love their spa!! It’s a quiet oasis where you can relax by yourself or in groups. Choose your area to immerse yourself whether at the pool, outdoor area or the thermal pools downstairs. I’ve been to the spa many times & love it!!! Also check out their restaurant, Terra Mae! The food & service is great!!

MARLIAN FOR THE WIN! What an incredible experience at CASCADA and it got even better thanks to housekeeping hero Marlian! We left my wife's wedding ring on the kitchen counter in our room and assumed it was lost forever. But Marlian discovered it during cleaning and did the right thing. Her honesty and care completely restored our faith in humanity. The entire property was immaculate: our room was spotless and luxurious, the staff was friendly and top-notch from check-in to the thermal springs area were pristine, serene, and transformative. Everything exceeded expectations. This place has our vote forever—we'll be returning as loyal guests. Massive thanks to Marlian and the whole team for going the extra mile. I stayed at Cascada Thermal Springs in Portland from December 15–22, 2026, and overall it was an excellent experience.||The accommodations were outstanding. The room felt more like a modern studio apartment than a hotel room—very well updated and thoughtfully designed. Having a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, as well as an in-unit washer and dryer, made the stay especially comfortable and convenient for a longer visit. Everything was clean, functional, and clearly well maintained. Housekeeping did a great job throughout my stay.||The staff truly stood out. The front desk team was consistently friendly, patient, and helpful, answering all my questions and making sure I felt supported during my visit. Everyone I interacted with was professional and genuinely welcoming.||The thermal springs themselves were a highlight—beautifully designed, relaxing, and exactly what I was hoping for. That said, it would be great if access to the thermal springs were priced more reasonably for hotel guests, especially for longer stays, so guests could enjoy them on a daily basis without the cost adding up quickly.||The location is another big plus. Cascada is surrounded by great restaurants, boutiques, and local shops, and the neighborhood is a pleasure to walk around. Everything felt accessible without being overwhelming.||Overall, my stay was excellent. Cascada offers a rare combination of comfort, relaxation, and great service, and I would absolutely stay here again.

My partner and I had an absolutely luxurious time at this Spa Hotel! The staff is kind and helpful and the thermal springs were transcendent. Our room wag gorgeous, it had huge windows and view of Mt Hood - and the bed was super comfy. Coffee shop downstairs in the morning stocks delicious food and also has great coffee! There’s also a gallery attached to the hotel you can stroll through with beautiful work. Also the location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the arts district. 11/10 - hope to return soon! We booked a three-hour evening block and had a wonderful experience! We made reservations about three weeks in advance. The main pool was perfectly warm, with upbeat lo-fi music playing throughout the space, creating a relaxing vibe. A lovely bonus was the free hot tea available during our visit. The sanctuary has four pools in total, and the Ambient and Mineral pools were my favorites (no phones or talking there). There’s a person who rings a meditation bell at particular times and this really adds to the relaxation vibes. The music in this room is so peaceful. Restrooms and showers are located on this level, with locker rooms and showers on the main floor as well. The entire experience reminded us of visiting the thermal hot springs spa near the Roman Baths in Bath, England. I love that something this unique is so close to home. We’ll definitely be back!
