SweatHouz Newport Beach Contrast Therapy Studio

Just finished my first introductory session and was very impressed! I will definitely be back. I was a bit apprehensive at first since I had never cold plunged before but just went for it and glad I did. The studio is very well stocked and clean and the staff were great! Dealt specifically with Makenzie and she was fantastic!! Walked me through the entire process, gave me tips, some of the settings she uses, etc. was so friendly and made the experience awesome! Felt fantastic after and I will definitely be back! Incredible facility and even better people!

The employees at this location are incredible. They are always incredibly sweet, kind, and considerate… almost feels like I’m stepping back in time. The rooms are clean and equipment well maintained. I do wish they had an option for group/social sauna/plunge (they only offer private-rooms), but outside of that this place checks all the boxes. Highly recommend!

VIP sauna/cold plunge experience. Sarah always has my temps, towel, & lighting preferences ready & waiting for me when I walk in the door. I recommend the unlimited pass if you go everyday like myself. Comes out to less than $9/day.

As someone who travels frequently and has visited different locations, I can confidently say that while they’re all good, this one truly stands out. What makes it great is the consistency, every visit offers the same high level of cleanliness in the suites and exceptional customer service. It’s refreshing to know exactly what to expect each time: a spotless, well-maintained space and a team that is genuinely welcoming and attentive. That level of reliability is what keeps me coming back and sets this location apart from the rest.

The staff was super friendly and helpful as we're first timers. We had a 60 minute session where you would go in the sauna first for about 30 minutes while also having the option of watching tv with multiple streaming services to choose from. After the sauna, you would do a quick rinse with their vitamin C shower. Then off to the 50 degrees cold plunge. This gets getting used to but it feels amazing when you get out. It's weird, you would hate going in, but after coming out, you kind of want to get back in again. Then another vitamin C shower to clean off. Don't forget to keep hydrated in the sauna. Bring a water bottle to fill up their water infused with electrolytes and vitamins.

We loved this hour of relaxation and I was grateful I was able to bring my daughter with me. 12-18 year olds can be added to your private suite for just $30. Parking easy and validated and staff so nice and welcoming! Highly recommend

Such an awesome place. Mackenzie was so helpful and informative. This was the highlight of our trip to Newport. Highly recommend for anyone visiting that is looking for a great way to relax or for locals that want to boost their wellness routine.
