Gather Sauna House

Gather Sauna at Pioneer Park was a wonderful experience. I was honestly a little nervous at first about getting into the 38° Deschutes River, but the nearly 200° saunas—and the relaxed, welcoming communal atmosphere—made the cold plunge almost enjoyable. The staff provided clear, thoughtful instruction, and the accommodations were well-designed and comfortable. Even though it’s a very public setting, I felt surprisingly at ease the entire time. I stayed warm for the rest of the day, and my skin and body felt incredible afterward. I honestly wish I could do this every week.

One of my favorite places in Bend. I’ve been going for 3+ years. The owners have put a lot of thought (and effort) into making year-round outdoor plunges & saunas a thing in town and their work has paid off. The real magic comes from Bree, their main host. She is so friendly and patient, making sure the sauna experience is just right and giving practical tips on how to make the cold plunge a success. Truly a wonderful business and experience.

What an amazingly well curated and thoughtful experience!!! From the fire heated (old school and superior imho) cute little cabin sauna things to the cold plunge right into the mighty Deschutes, Gather is therapeutic and delightful. The lovely lady, I can't remember her name but she was amazing, read us in thoroughly and in so many ways, kept the fires burning. It felt like a magical oasis! 10/10 will be going back!

So awesome! We booked the private 1.5 hr session for a girls weekend treat. We all got about 3 cycles of sauna/cold plunge and it was delightful. The chairs outside were very comfortable to lounge in between sessions. Everything was very clean. Only downside was having to use the portapotty for bathroom. Otherwise everything was top notch!

Fun activity for our family - 4 mid-20s and 2 parents. Very clean and comfortable sauna with great temps (up to 190+ degrees) with eucalyptus scented water to put on rocks. 4 of us did the cold water plunge in the Deschutes River (very cold at 36 degrees) and very grateful they had nice birkenstock style slides to wear in the water as we did not have any water shoes. Very energizing and different activity! Recommend!

We rented one of the private saunas on the deschutes river and had the best time! It was the absolute perfect fall activity. Halina and her team have created a truly unique and special experience. The sauna was nice and hot, and nothing beats a wood fired experience. We also raved about the facial oil they gave us at the end, such a nice touch. We will definitely be back!

I LOVE Gather Sauna house. It is a total reset physically and mentally, I mean there is nothing like cold plunging in the river after a 200 degree sauna. Bri is always so nice, and ready to explain any part of the process to you. I love Gather Sauna and plan to continue to go throughout this winter and spring!
