I would like to praise the management and ownership team at David Ríos for their professionalism and genuine care. Although my first attempt at the salon did not go as planned, the moment I explained to management what went wrong, they did everything possible, going above and beyond to make it right. That leaves me confident to recommend this salon to anyone looking for coloring services and as a tip try to not get anyone else but Vanessa. Anyone else may not go as you have planned. Total service was 420usd ~

The atmosphere was so welcoming and cozy, and the staff was very friendly and professional. Ziya is a true artist who listened to my needs and created a stunning color and cut that exceeded my expectations. Ziya perfectly blended my balayage, and the color is exactly what I wanted.

Ziya is the best stylist in the world - my family and I go to all lengths to find him! While living in Santa Barbara, we flew back to Georgetown and David Rios just to see Ziya! We encourage everyone to do so - super stylish, fast, most genuine experience - thank you Ziya, every time!!

This was my first time ever dyeing my hair, and I was really excited when I found this salon because of the great reviews. I went in about a month ago with a very simple request: to cover all my grays and leave the rest of my hair untouched. Unfortunately, that’s not what happened. The stylist only covered some of the grays, leaving many completely untouched. I reached out afterward to explain the issue and was told I could come back for a complimentary fix—as long as it was "within a week." I made the appointment within that week, thinking that fulfilled the policy. But when I went in for the correction about a month later (which was the soonest I could manage due to my full-time job), I was charged $140. I also want to mention that the stylist wasn’t even available during that "one-week" window when I first called to schedule, so it felt very unfair. Even worse, after spending over an hour in the chair and paying full price again, I went home and noticed many of the grays were still there. It was incredibly disappointing and frustrating—especially for such an expensive service. On top of that, I have serious concerns about their hygiene practices. The brush the stylist picked up to use on my hair had visible hair from another customer, which was honestly disgusting and unacceptable for a professional salon. I truly wanted this to be my go-to salon, but unfortunately, this experience was a total letdown. I won’t be returning.

Ziya is a great stylist who gave me a wonderful precision short haircut. I also appreciated the calm atmosphere of the salon and the excellent hair wash and massage. I will definitely return when I’m in Georgetown

Katty has been cutting my hair for years and she’s the best. She’s great with my thick textured hair, giving me awesome longer styles and even a complicated & very cute pixie cut. She’s capable of implementing any vision you have for your hair!

Fantastic experience. When I walked in, I didn't know what I wanted but Kristin knew what shade and style would suit me best; I have been seeing the same stylist in NYC for over 20+ years so I was a bit anxious entrusting someone else with my hair. I'm so glad a friend recommended her. I had balayage, toner, conditioning treatment and a cut, I couldn't be more pleased. She is truly gifted and I'm grateful for her advice. Thank you Kristin 🙏🏽
