Carmen is so attentive, patient and thorough with my hair each time no matter how long it takes! She explains how to make your hair healthier before your treatment and then afterwards, explains what products to use and what to avoid. Her work is beyond unreal. Such a skilled stylist I’m so impressed at the quality of results, pricing is super reasonable and I’d honestly pay double what she charges because her work is that PERFECT! She’s so humble and when her assistant comes in to help it’s sooo much fun. What an awesome duo. Love love love them. It was such a blessing to get my hair done here, can’t wait for my next visit! I've had all my magic perms done in Ktown (Los Angeles) but I've finally found a local stylist in the Chicago area. Carmen is highly experienced and gets amazing results. My very thick, coarse, unruly Asian hair still dries completely straight and shiny from the shower (3 months later) and her price is incredible. I wasn't surprised to learn that Carmen had worked for many years in Korean salons, she is a total pro.

Carmen is very professional, knowledgeable, and and has had many years of experience with Japanese hair straightening. It was my first time going to her and she's very friendly, attentive, and made me feel comfortable. The process takes many hours to complete and she was very patient with carefully straightening each strand of my thick curly hair. She provided advice based on my hair's history and texture, thoroughly explained future maintenance, and gave me recommendations on which products to use. I am happy with the end result, my hair feels smooth and shiny now! I highly recommend her for a great experience and excellent customer service!

Carmen is hands down the best hairstylist you will meet. She is super knowledgeable, courteous, warm and friendly. Her service is beyond phenomenal, she makes sure you are comfortable, checking in on you during treatments, even handed me the remote if I wanted to watch YouTube /Netflix movies during the waiting phases for the treatments to set. This is my second time coming here and even more to come, for sure!
