Review 16/365 Day Challenge Our 1st time coming to this Zion Market. My son had a soccer game and decided to stop by b4 heading home. They also have Kimbap fast food at the court right when you walk into the supermarket. Ended up Grabbing lunch from CM chicken at the food court. While waiting for the fried chicken order to be done i went and grabbed some KaLbi to cook during the midday. What flavor chicken we ordered ~ Garlic Soy flavor was really yummy. Tasted similar like the known fried chicken spot that offers the garlic soy flavor. ~ Garlic Spicy Mild tastes like the Garlic Soy but with the Mild spice level. Isn’t mild at all. Looks red & spicy but don’t let that scare you to order this flavor. It’s a new Flavor. Chicken is good, tender, fried to perfection and nice size. It came w a good size pickled daikon given with our chicken. The associate gave us a receipt and mentioned it'll be 15 mins to pick up. So i decided to do some shopping. Associate was really nice friendly & our order was completed as promised. The chicken spot looks clean and welcoming. Along has a delicious aroma of yummy fried chicken. This Zion is much cleaner and well organized than the Zion market in Buena Park I usually go to along w more up to date atmosphere. The aisle was not cramped and neatly displayed. The fruits , veggies looked fresh. The meat some were a bit darker color for fresh red meat color. Lots of parking out front.

For Korean and Asian groceries in Irvine, Zion is a less costly supermarket than H-Mart, Mitsuwa, and some 99 Ranch. Many, not all, items are cheaper if u know your prices and are able to discern. Overall, fruits and vegetables are fresh and cheaper but meat and others are comparable in prices. Interior is not as bright and renovated as H-Mart but not rundown. Shopping carts are in serious need of repair or replacement because many of them don't move well. They also sell ready-to-grill marinated meats, sushi, ready-to-eat Korean food and "banchans". I recommend here over H-Mart and 99 Ranch if u r buying a lot of groceries and want more value. For meats, I prefer American branded supermarkets or Costco/Sam's because they are fresher. For fish and pork, 99 Ranch seems fresher than Zion Irvine. Also, Zion Buena Park is cleaner, fresher, and cheaper than Zion Irvine. Which Asian supermarket is better for u will depend on distance, quantity, price, and variety of selections.

Today my mother visited the store, which our family has been shopping at regularly for a long time. After completing her shopping and leaving the store, the employee responsible for handling shopping bags approached the security staff outside. They stopped my mother, asked her to open her bag, and even searched her pockets, suspecting her of stealing something. This behavior is completely unacceptable. My mother was publicly humiliated without any valid reason. Even more disturbing is the fact that after realizing there was nothing wrong, no apology was offered to her. However, this does not make what happened acceptable in any way. We are not strangers to this store, we are neighbors and loyal customers who have been shopping here consistently. We will no longer be shopping at this store. I will also make sure to share this experience with everyone in our local community.

After getting a fresh haircut, I stopped by Zion Market right next door, and I was pleasantly surprised! The selection of meats, sashimi, and vegetables is super fresh, and the prices are even better than H Mart’s offerings — definitely more variety too! If you love stocking up on Korean side dishes, frozen foods, and instant noodles, this place has everything you need. Inside the supermarket, to the left, there’s a Paris Baguette bakery, a Korean restaurant, and Two Dak, a fried chicken restaurant where the prices are lower compared to Pelicana nearby. They even have their own dining and seating area. If you’re tired from grocery shopping, you can have a meal or just relax with a cup of coffee before heading home. I love Zion mart and I wish it had more locations in Orange County. 📍 **Zion Market (Northwood Town Center)** 4800 Irvine Blvd, Irvine, CA 92620

This is my favorite market in Irvine. I always go for the noodles and Korean sushi which totals would be like $12. That’s lunch right there! They also have a bakery inside with mochi donuts. They sell liquor and Korean alcohol. It’s a huge place. Go check it out. You won’t be disappointed! @ninjaxfang

Zion Market used to be our go-to of all Korean grocery stores in Irvine and Buena Park. We stopped frequenting the Buena Park location a few years ago when they refused to refund us for a seaweed product that had mold growing on it and told us we shouldn't expect refunds for defective products because they will lose money if they hand out refunds willy-nilly. Irvine locations had been okay but their products are less fresh and more expensive than H mart now. That is forgivable but what bothers me the most is that they allow their produce section employees to loiter and sit around the produce, watch videos really loudly on their phone, and do not move out of the way of the customers who need the vegetables they are sitting on. I was here just a few hours ago with my mother and these employees were giving us an attitude for picking out vegetables close to them, as if we were intruding on their video watching time on their phones. I guess we are sticking solely to H Mart now.

Love this place, here I find all kinds of Korean food that I love, some things are a little expensive but other than that you find all kinds of great Asian food. In the dessert area I was amazed, and beautiful and delicious desserts, I had never had the opportunity to try the Korean cheesecake and I was delighted with its taste😋🤤.
