Dr. Dental: Dentistry & Braces

In the works of having things done Each time is pleasant. Robin November 18 2025 I got my partial today. It was easy peasy. The visit went very well. The hygienist did a wonderful job, she was extremely thorough, thoughtful and informative. I learned quite a bit during that session that was not revealed to me in the past about caring for my teeth. The staff on a whole was professional, and a pleasure to communicate with. Looking forward to my next visit!

My mom went to Dr. Dental in July for a regular dental cleaning, but the dentist said she needed a deep cleaning instead and that they would submit a claim to her insurance to see if it would be covered. They told us we would hear back in 4–6 weeks — either a letter from the insurance if denied or a call from the office if approved. After 6 weeks passed with no update, I called multiple times and got no answer. Since I live close by, I went to the office in person. They acted like they couldn’t find the claim at all, even though they were the ones who said they submitted it. Mistakes happen, so I agreed when they said they would resubmit the claim. Another 6 weeks went by — again no call, no letter, no update. When I finally reached them by phone, they put me on hold for 20 minutes, supposedly to check the claim status, only to come back and say it was denied. There was no apology, no explanation, and no alternative options offered. And to this day, we still haven’t received any denial letter from the insurance, which makes me seriously question whether the claim was ever submitted at all. This entire experience has been a waste of time and very frustrating. Based on how we were treated and the lack of communication or accountability, I would not recommend this location — especially for people of color or honestly anyone looking for reliable, respectful care.

Dr Yoon and his assistant Nikona made my teeth pearly white just in time for the holiday season I am grateful to have such a skilled team working in this office to take care of my health needs Rick at the front desk is extremely knowledgeable and informative about all options available. I will come here from now on. This is my new dentist office! Thank you Norwalk and Dr Dental for having such a dedicated team that is so successful in their profession. You are in good hands here!

I had a very disappointing and painful experience at this Dr. dental office. During my cavity fillings, the dentist did not leave the numbing cream on long enough for it to work. I repeatedly told her that I was in pain, but she kept saying she would "be done soon" and continued working for over an hour. I also kept choking during the procedure, and instead of the dental assistant helping, she just stood there talking about Thanksgiving and different foods. The dentist rushed through everything and didn’t listen when I said something was wrong. Over 24 hours later, I’m still in pain — and to make things worse, she didn’t even finish all of the fillings. The experience was so uncomfortable that my husband cancelled his appointment after seeing what I went through. I do not recommend this office at all!

Easy and streamlined experience. Rick @ front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable about applying insurance/rates, etc.

Very polite and friendly staff Doctor was awesome, explained.Everything got me in right away. Everything went as smooth as I expected been going here for years
