Trident Dental - North Charleston

Gabby was my dental hygienist and she was awesome! My teeth looked beautiful after and she listened to my concerns since I haven't gotten my teeth cleaned in a while. She chatted with me just to make the visit more comfortable. Trident dental has a very friendly staff and they are very quick to get you back and on your way. I will recommend them to everybody 😊

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this office! My daughter had her very first dental visit here, and the entire team went above and beyond to make her feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Her whole experience was amazing from start to finish! Jen gave her a gentle cleaning, Dr. Privott checked her teeth, Sobia and Hannah kept her happy and entertained. We knew our toddler might not fully cooperate for her very first visit (as expected 😅), but the team was incredibly patient, kind, and reassuring. There was absolutely no pressure, just genuine care and support. She left smiling, and we celebrated afterward with ice cream and a little treat. I’m so grateful to have found a dental office that treats children with such compassion. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a warm, trustworthy, and family-friendly dental team!

I love the warm welcome environment. Definitely love the welcome sign with my name on it. I was having a kind of bad morning, but seeing a warm welcome with my name on the side and the warm greeting that I received when I came in, definitely changed my mood for the day. Definitely rate you guys 10 out of 10.

Great folks. Everyone was kind and professional. Front office was super easy to work with, Dentist was friendly and down to earth, techs and assistants were all professional and great at their jobs also. This place is top notch!

While eating a Gummibaer on Thursday afternoon, 11/20/2025, I suddenly felt too pieces even though I hadn't bitten through the bear... Yep, the top of my porcelain crown on my back molar came off. Drinking water, my tooth was sensitive to temperature and I wouldn't be able to chew much. Immediately texted if I could come in for it to hopefully be glued back on. They accommodated within an hour, to taking me between appointments, and I was out of their chair in 30 min with it back on and bite adjusted for the glue. Unfortunately I need a replacement as it's sidewall was cracked; those crowns have a 'shelf life' I learned. The Dorchester Rd, North Charleston location team/staff and dentist Dr. Privitt have always been super nice, check your insurance coverage and limits, and work with you. Easy to find and no issues finding parking.

December 9, 2025 - Excellent . . I returned for my 6 month cleaning . . As always this office is so pleasant and welcoming. Amanda is fabulous, gentle, thorough and communicates well during the process. She always takes magnificent care of me . . Thank You . . Dr. Privott is kind, patient and honest. Takes his time to do a visual check after cleaning and inform you of teeth to keep an eye on. Grateful For this wonderful team. Update . . All the staff here are fabulous, friendly, welcoming, patient and knowledgeable. Dr. Privott is professional, kind, gentle and communicates in a comfortable manner. I recently had work done . . Root canal and crown . Dr. Privott was nothing than amazing throughout this two-visit process. 😊thank you. HOWEVER . . Trident has a 12 month-zero interest contract with CareCredit. I wish I had known as I was prepared for this particular bill to be allowed 24 - months zero interest 😔 It would be nice if Trident would PLEASE consider the 18 and 24 month zero interest options for purchases over $500. I highly recommend this office . . I’m thankful to I’m a patient here. Thank you 😊

Very friendly, and they truly seem to have your best interests at heart. The front desk/billing lady is always very helpful and happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have (I can’t recall her name). I usually loathe going to the dentist, but this has been the best dental experience I’ve ever had.
