We found Dr. Herman's office several years ago after being disappointed with another practice. I chose this practice solely based off of reviews and proximity to my home. I can assure you that I never dream about going to the dentist but in my wildest dreams, I could never imagine a practice better than the one Dr. Herman has created. The administrative staff is truly outstanding: polite, accommodating, and consistently kind. My husband and children have nothing but wonderful things to say about their hygienists, and when my teenagers have gone to appointments on their own, I’ve always received a thoughtful phone call from the hygienist confirming their care. Laura is my hygienist, and she is exceptional. She is gentle, thorough, and genuinely caring. I always feel completely at ease in her hands. Dr. Herman’s care is equally impressive. He is clearly highly skilled, takes a conservative and thoughtful approach to treatment, and we have never once felt pressured into unnecessary procedures. He is incredibly patient, spending over two hours bonding my daughter’s teeth, with flawless results. The office itself is charming and welcoming, yet equipped with state-of-the-art technology—a perfect combination. I even recommended Dr. Herman’s practice to my discerning, retired physician father, who has been equally impressed. If you want the very best dental care for you and your loved ones, this is the place.

I also have to mention Liz the hygienist I see at his office. She is the best I've ever seen. She, too, is knowledgeable and very thorough. And her demeanor is wonderful. Dr. Herman is the absolute best dentist - and I’ve been to many in NYC and DMV. He is kind and patient. He carefully listens to all of my dental concerns and explains all of the possible options. And there is nothing like a very thorough (yet painless!) teeth cleaning. The entire office is pleasant and very well run. I never wait to be seen and they handle all of my insurance submissions.
