I went to Ebony on October 6, 2025 at 8:45 am to get micro braids. Firstly, she wasn’t able to finish my hair with the 3 packs I brought her, when the style works perfectly with a little less than 3. Secondly, she didn’t my hair after 12 hours, when it should’ve and can be done in 10 hours. I left the salon around 9 with the plan of coming back the following day for her to finish like 15 braids. Not even 3 hours after making it home, 3 braids had fallen. After a closer inspection of my hair, none of it was secured: the knots to secure braids and at the root was all loose. So, I clearly didn’t trust her to finish on time and do them correctly the following day. So I didn’t return to Ebony. Because I didn’t return for her to continue to mess up my hair, she decided to threaten me with calling the police. I originally was going to pay her a whopping $350. After explaining and sending pictures of the mess up, they went down to $270. Now on October 11, 2025, I have lost practically every single braid. I’m furious this because I needed her done for my occupation where I need to pull it up into updo hairstyles. Having braids out all along the perimeter would not work for my career as a dancer. So I became a hairstylist myself to complete my hair to the way it should’ve been done the first time. I wasted $270 for a hairstyle that can last up to 3 months, now I have to take it out 6 days later. I only paid for her labor and not for her work.

Love this K-beauty store! The staff is super knowledgeable and always helpful. They really know their products and give great recommendations. There’s a huge variety to choose from, and the prices are really good too. Definitely one of my favorite places to shop for skincare.

This is a great beauty store with a wide range of products. My wife gets all her wigs, braiding hair, and other hair products from here. The store is well-organized, and the soothing music makes the shopping experience even better. The staff are very helpful, and the owner is friendly. I would definitely recommend this store for quality products.

I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the repeated poor customer service and mishandling of a purchase made at your store. On December 31st, my mother (age 58) visited your store and paid $32 for a stun gun after speaking with an employee named Tae and a young male employee. She was told the item was not currently in stock but could be ordered online and picked up within 2–3 days. Her payment was taken at that time using her credit card. A few days later, my sister and niece returned to the store to check on the order and were told it would arrive within another day or two. During this visit, the service was extremely poor, and employees appeared confused and unsure about the order. Several days later, my sister, niece, and mother returned again to purchase hair bundles. During this visit, Tae was very rude, unhelpful, and acted as though she did not want to assist them at all. Due to the ongoing delays and lack of communication, my niece asked about the stun gun that had already been paid for. The young male employee stated that the shipment had arrived but that there were many boxes to go through and instructed them to come back later. My mother provided her name and phone number and was told she would be contacted once the item was located. After waiting nearly four more days with no call, my mother returned to the store today, January 10th at approximately 3:40 PM, only to be told that she would need to pay for the stun gun again because the employees did not remember her original payment. This is completely unacceptable. At no point during any prior visit was she informed that another payment would be required—only that the item was delayed. The attempt to charge my mother again for an item she already paid for is extremely concerning. My family spends a significant amount of money at your store, and the way this situation was handled—especially involving a 58-year-old customer—feels careless at best and dishonest at worst. I am requesting: 1. A full refund of the $32 paid on December 31st, or the immediate release of the stun gun that was already purchased. 2. A clear explanation of how this situation was mishandled so severely. 3. Assurance that this type of treatment will not happen to other customers. This entire experience has been frustrating, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I expect this matter to be resolved promptly.

Excellent store for hair and food supplies. David was very helpful with providing information and transactions. The store has ample selection of hair products - weaves, crotchet braids, wigs etc. There are also high quality hair and body products! They are setting up the food section but you can get things like palm oil, Garry and other African food stuff at the moment.

If you’re closed on any holiday you should make sure it’s on the website whitin the hours that’s listed it’s common sense especially for a business. It would save us customers a drive and drive to a different location that’s more reliable. I’ve been at this location many years and they always slack on their hours.
