I had such a great experience at the Ulta Salon! I originally booked with Lorraine for an all-over color, but when we realized she doesn’t do vivids, she went out of her way to accommodate me and helped rebook my appointment with Kristina. Both of them were so kind and professional throughout the entire process. Kristina did my vivid purple color, and I am so happy with how it turned out! She even fit me in for a last-minute blowout, which was such a thoughtful touch and made me feel so taken care of. I had only one day available and booked pretty last minute, so the level of customer service I received truly exceeded my expectations. The entire experience—from the conversation to the expertise—was incredible. Lorraine and Kristina were both so genuine, friendly, and skilled. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and beyond grateful. If you’re in the area, I 100% recommend booking with Lorraine or Kristina. You won’t be disappointed! 💜

Kaitlin went above and beyond to help me . This is my 2-3rd time in this store and the ladies have always been so helpful and friendly. I spent over $450 because I left my makeup bag at my house in lake arrowhead and didn’t want to drive up to get it so I needed new stuff anyway. I hope they get commission.

I came to get my sister makeup for the first time and do some Christmas shopping and this lady was following us around. I noticed she got closer and closer each time and she asked if I needed a bag and I respectfully declined because I was going to check out after looking at the lipglosses. Then she continued standing right next to me and continued to ask me if I needed a bag and then I told her to leave us alone because we just wanted to shop in peace and we were leaving to the check out anyways. Then she said hinted that we were stealing which I got mad because I was going to pay for all of my items and did at the check out. I told her she was harassing my sister and I because she wouldn’t leave us alone at the store and kept following us and wouldn’t let us shop in peace. Then she said I could leave. What type of service is that? Asking me to leave when I’m trying to get makeup for my sister and do Christmas shopping for my family?

This location is filthy just dirty. And messy the makeup was all over the place. The lipstick testers were disgusting. The employees should be cleaning constantly and consistently instead of standing around talking to each other. And why are the lights always out?

I could not go genuinely 3 minutes without being forced to say that I'm okay, thank you. I was in for around 20min and had seven different people ask how I'm doing. I usually keep my earbuds in to be in my own little world and say thanks if I see someone speaking to me, but twice two different employees forced their way into my vision while I was crouched, testing foundation on a bottom shelf, looking down. Ive worked at Ulta before and totally understand the need to make contact and build that basket, but I just felt uncomfortable at how often I was being interacted with. Good selection of brands but I'd only come late at night or avoid altogether because of how suffocating it feels.

The employee at the front (Cashier Vanessa) asked me multiple times if i wanted to add a phone number after declining politely three times her whole attitude shifted and she handed me my item in the bag with one finger. As if she was disgusted or something. She didn’t say thank you or bye as we left as she didn’t for the customers before us. It’s Incredibly unprofessional for demeanor to change when customers decline reward/loyalty sign up’s. A customer is a customer regardless, a sign up shouldn’t make me more valuable.
