ISEE Beauty Supply

It was my first time visiting ISEE Beauty and I was extremely impressed. The staff was so helpful and kind, they helped me find the perfect color and length of clip in extensions. On top of that, all the staff members just had a great positive vibe and seemed like they really enjoy their job. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for hair and beauty supplies.

Giving this place a one-star review is actually me being generous. I went there to get some spray on color and was a little distracted when I got to the counter. I set my items down and the cashier asked me was I ready I just kind of looked and said yes. Me not being very talkative had nothing to do with her, but what I was experiencing before I even walked in. This young lady took that as me being rude and decided to get more rude and through my receipt on the counter and made the comment "there you go" . Not even having the common decency to hand my receipt to me in my hand. I saw that the manager was outside and waited for him to come back into the store so I could let him know about his employee. As I'm talking to the manager and letting him know about his cashier being rude to me and throwing my receipt on the counter, she chimes in and says you were being rude to me. I'm thinking to myself I wasn't even thinking about you I just was trying to make my purchase and come on out of there. She went on to tell me that I can get out of the store with that nonsense. All of this why the manager is standing there. Listening to The Exchange and never one time interjected. she denied throwing my receipt on the counter. I told the owner to check the cameras and look for himself. The point I'm making is, this young lady doesn't know the difference between someone being rude and someone not being talkative. Which had nothing to do with her at all I just wanted to get my things and come out of the store. She should be mature enough to not internalize things and take them personal and just do her job but instead she wanted to prove a point. Like I told the owner black women have supported all these beauty supplies in our community for decades. Black Women. We have made these Beauty Supply owners multi-millionaires, yet black women get treated the worst when we come into the stores. We are overly profiled, and talk to as if we are not spending our hard-earned money to continue to make them rich. I am just so tired and disgusted with it. But I guarantee I will never spend another dime in this establishment. This beauty supply is only 5 minutes away from where I live. But I guarantee I will travel the City of Long Beach to find what I need from somewhere else.

Grest so many nails. They have a hugexselection of eyelashes, eyebrow stencils and ink as well as nails and the supplies to do them. I love it here even a lota hair dyeing and maintenance products..

I told the hubby I need a beauty supply store. A hood spot lol not one of those Sally's type spaces. He looked some up and we went to other stores before finding this one and that was a total waste of time. This is the spot. Shelves were fully sticked and they had EVERYTHING I wanted. I think they thought I was nuts because of the level of excitement I had. I used to live in LA but I didn't want to drive that far to get to my usual spots. Say less. This place delivers and staff were very friendly.

I only give one star because the girl with the red hair who works here has horrible customer service. I needed help with a product that I wasn’t sure of and she act like she didn’t want to help. Didn’t even show me where the product was but just pointed at it. I was still lost so I asked her to show me and she got an attitude with me. Girl get a new job if you can’t do simple customer service. Makes me not want to shop here anymore. Nonetheless the guys at the register are always nice to me!

Most of the products here are not amazing or of the best quality but I needed a couple of things while I was on a trip and I found what I needed. Hair mask, nail polish, etc. I noticed they had a ton of wigs, thought of getting one just for funsies.

I've been shopping at ISEE beauty supply for years now. The staff is helpful and they always have the newest and latest styles and also decent enough prices. The store is small,but it's packed with a lot of good stuff.
