Lassen's Natural Foods and Vitamins

I’ve been a loyal customer at this store for about three years and have always had positive experiences—until today. While waiting in line with one customer ahead of me, I observed the associate, Angie, provide exceptionally warm, welcoming, and top-tier customer service to the customer in front of me. She was friendly, attentive, and engaging. However, as soon as it was my turn, the experience completely changed. I was not greeted at all. Instead, I was abruptly asked, "Do you need a bag?" in a very rude and dismissive tone. Angie avoided eye contact the entire transaction and appeared visibly annoyed. I stood there smiling and attempting to engage, expecting the same level of service I had just witnessed, but it never came. The interaction made me feel unwelcome and, honestly, less than. This is the first time I have ever felt this way at this store, and it was disappointing—especially given how much I value and support this business. One small interaction can make a big impact, and this experience genuinely made me question returning.

I went to Lassens Natural Foods yesterday. Because of my weight I have changed my diet. I had went to Walmart, Albertsons and Vons and could not find what I was looking for. Looked up Vegan food stores on Yelp and found Lassens. First, the people there are very friendly. They also have a tiny Cafe like area that sells Vegan options. There is a whole area that has Vegan foods and they had what I was looking for. The atmosphere is relaxed in the store and it is very clean. Not only does Lassens sell Vegan, but they also have healthy foods for all tastes. Most of what I saw was Organic, Healthy and Holistic. I highly recommend Lassens if you are looking for better foods.

This is a pleasant place to go to. It's very expensive. I love their turkey sandwich, again very expensive, so I don't always get it when we go! I enjoy the cola drinks, they of course don't have the same flavor as the colas we're used to, but I do like drinking the more healthier ones!

Unbelievable selection. Not the cheapest prices, but unmatched choices. This is the place to buy your health related supplements and foods. Highly recommended

Stopped by on a whim on the way to the Sequoias. Everything I needed was there. The line at the cashier was about 5-6 people deep when I walked up to make my purchase, but within a minute other cashiers showed up to make it go faster.

With great disappointment, my service animal—who is trained to detect the onset of hypoglycemia and alert me accordingly—was denied entry into your store. Leaving her in the vehicle causes her distress as she is unable to perform her designated task. Despite this inconvenience, I decided to proceed with my intention of purchasing a healthier mayonnaise option for my family. As I carried my service animal, enabling her to detect any potential changes in my breath, I managed to navigate through half of the store before being approached and asked to leave. Upon explaining the situation, I was informed that her presence was prohibited, even while being carried. Consequently, I complied, placed her in the vehicle, and returned to the store to make a purchase of a small and overpriced jar of mayonnaise. I will not be returning. 👎

Great place for healthy fresh food. Order a half or whole sandwich at the deli counter. They have various salads and wraps pre-made. Plus a market with organic & plant based food, fresh vegetables and fruit. A good selection or vitamin and herbs.
