Blissful Retreat

Had a headspa treatment on a massage bed here recently. The ladies were nice, they are appointment only so doors at locked when you arrive. The place was clean enough. My friend and I booked together and we're required to pay upfront and they included an 18% gratuity. The service itself left much to be desired. We both felt it was rushed and slightly aggressive with how the employees move our heads around during the treatment, which made it hard to relax. The product was nice, the smell and tingle made for a nice experience and feel of my hair the following day is nice too. I've had one other headspa so not much to compare to but the gal who did my first one did scalp analysis this was purely for relaxing and felt rushed through, almost as though the employee didn't want to be there. I probably would never return honestly.

Received a visit as a birthday gift, visit was nothing short of amazing. From start to finish it was absolutely wonderful. From the massage, facial and ending with a very relaxing pedicure. All of the ladies were absolutely wonderful. Most definitely will be back very soon.!!!!!!!!

Just recently had the blissful spa head treatment with monique and it was amazing! Monique was so friendly and really made me feel comfortable and welcomed. The whole place gives such a relaxing feel , i will definitely be back.

This is such a peaceful place and a wonderful locally owned business in Downtown Bakersfield. Lucky me! I was able to try out their new Japanese head spa treatment. The entire experience was beyond relaxing. The team at Blissful Retreat were lovely and welcoming from the first moment. I left feeling refreshed and pampered. The acupressure chair hit me just right. The scalp, neck and shoulder massage was akin to an extended version of the very best part of any day spa booking. I also appreciated the follicle exam and noticed drastic changes before and after the treatment. 🙂 I would highly recommend.

Just had the "Blissful Awakening" Head Spa treatment with Cat. It was the best experience! I would definitely recommend this to anyone. This includes men- Stimulate that hair growth!!! Thanks again, Cat. I’ll be back!

My husband made reservations for my birthday for me to get a facial and a Swedish massage. It was my first time doing either and it was an amazing experience. The facial made my face feel rejuvenated and the Swedish massage was so relaxing and calming. I came out of there feeling amazing. Thank you Haley and Elysia for making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone.

The Japanese Head Spa is one of the best investments that I have made in myself.
