TATE'S Comics + Toys + More

Awesome comic book store. So many rare collectibles, action figures rare toys. I really enjoyed looking at the art upstairs. This whole place had me in my feels because my dad was a collector. He would have loved this place. Thank you for such a great experience.

Now.... I didn't want to be a hater. But as an Orlando for liver I think things must be said. The good is that the place is massive and they have a great collection of everything. The bad is that I legit thought this was a 2nd hand store. So color me shocked they barely have used manga and everything is cover price. Overall it's a cute experience if you live in broward and want to be with like minded people. But otherwise it's just a slightly nicher and well decorated Barnes and noble.

Hands down the best comic book and collectibles store in South Florida! 📚🌴 The selection is incredible, from graphic novels to collectibles. The staff is super friendly too! If you're a fan of comics, sci-fi, or pop culture, this place is a must-visit! 💯

I've been coming to Tate's for years, their collectibles can be a little overpriced, but thats because they do have the rarest items you can find, they are always stocked with good stuff especially for the kids, my kids love coming here besides the little kid that still lives in me and my husband. When we go through those doors its not only nostalgic but we see alot of new cool stuff that gets us into it. Im greatful for Tates and I hope my kids when they grow up will bring their kids as well here. ❤️

They don’t let you bring a purse in the store but offer to keep it at the front for you, I had some jewelry I just bought in my purse so I didn’t want to leave it with them and waited outside while my friend went and got stuff. They had a good selection from what he showed me, but I couldn’t experience it since I couldn’t go in. The prices were not bad, a tool that was 40 dollars in a Japan was 69 which isn’t that bad. Good selection but don’t bring a bag/purse because you can’t go in unless you leave it with them, and do not leave it in your car like they suggest because break ins do happen. Good gundam collection.

Was at the store and saw a really cute figured that I liked on display. I asked an employee about it and she kinda brushed me off while helping me. She just wasn’t very friendly. When I decided that I wanted this figure, I went into line and unfortunately got the same unfriendly girl. I didn’t really care but when she started bring the figure out of the case she was very rough with it. She ended up dropping multiple pieces of the product that I was buying. I wasn’t happy about it but I brushed it off and was going on with my day and then she started packaging it. She packaged it so bad that she was ruining the pieces as she was putting it in. I just tried my best to brush it off and not worry about it when it came time to open it. She basically disassembled half of the pieces and just put it back into the box very carelessly that my figure ended up falling off the base plate and scratching up badly and I don’t know how to fix it. An employee in the other store was super nice and tried helping me but there was nothing much he could do. I really like the store but I would never trust the girl with the short black hair again. I am very upset that this happened and just sad that there is nothing I can do about it. I don’t recommend on letting her help you because it just isn’t worth it.
