Daiso - Japanese Household Goods

A lot of great household items and office things. Unique items and snacks. You have to look up the prices from yen to dollars. Smaller than I’d expected. Crew was very friendly. I would go back.

It is absolutely an interesting store with reasonable prices, many cute little things, and great selections of Asian food. Some Asian beverages and snacks can be bought at HMart with mostly same price, but cute toys and delicate gadgets, such as cosmetics, can be a brilliant gift for friends or ourselves.

So much fun to spend time in Daiso! This store has so many Japanese household goods, toys, stationery, beauty tools, kitchen items and some additional gadgets that make life more fun. I found some really cute stickers, letter sets, bowls, and even a small lunchbox! If you’re a fan of Sumikko, BT21, Miffy, Sanrio, Rilakumma, etc, you’ll find all sorts of cute merchandise here. No Pokemon products though. After living in Japan for 2 years, I am very excited that Daiso is gaining popularity here in the US. This Daiso location mirrors a Daiso location in Japan but I found myself confused at the conversion chart because ¥200 does not equal $3.75, rather it equals about $1.40. I understand that there increased prices are due to shipping and importing directly from Japan, but these signs are misleading people to believe the worth of Japanese yen. In Japan, a trip to Daiso meant spending a very small amount of US dollars but in America, it’s a bit different. Still a good deal for these household essentials, but these conversion charts are not accurate to the reality of the currencies.

We're doing the Daiso tour! This is our 3rd Daiso this week and, so far it doesn't disappoint. We spent way too much money there as usual, you just can't help it with all the merchandise and the isles never end. It might be a good idea to set a spending limit before you enter because it's hard to leave without 1/2 the store. Not all Daiso's have the same products so keep that in mind if you're looking for something in particular.

not my faveriote japanse store but i love there selection of items, i always come for snacks and dishes, i did find some blind bags so i got a few, decent priced around 2$ its a fun place to go

Daiso is the Japanese equivalent of the 99 cents store or your dollar tree that you would go to for $1 and up items. The differences are that the products Daiso carries are super cute/kawaii and good for kids and adults alike. They have all kinds of things ranging from household items like bowls and cups to paint supplies, organization bins, gardening tools and even baking pans and trays. They even have snacks, sweets, makeup, and hair supplies. Everything starts at $1.50 and goes up from there. The store is very well organized and clean, and the employees are very polite and helpful.

Great variety store in mira mesa. Love the collection here, everything is super cute. We could see Japanese life stlye, few products are really innovative. Cool collection of ceramic plates, cups etc. You will find everything for day to day life. Perfect place to buy items for small parties. Kids would love items here, definitely a fun place. Love their snacks and drinks too.
