The Next Chapter Bookstore

If there was a way to give more stars i would do that. I was really sad when my favorite shop had closed. I heard wonderful things and had to stop by. 100% worth the trip. Sylvia is so sweet. I came in looking for some wedding planning book/magazines. She suggested that I create a vision board with pictures. I went through her entire magazine collection. Sylvia gave me the stack I had picked out. Amazing staff as well. Just went in to look and was there for several hours. 100% recommend checking the shop out. Got a permanent customer here. I have never left empty handed.

My new little piece of heaven discovered in Apple Valley today — The Next Chapter Bookstore. I popped in and discovered a wonderful family owned business with an inspiring story of how it came to be here. If you love a good book I'd definitely recommend stopping in for a treasure hunt if you are ever in the area. This is a donation based bookstore with a great selection of free and almost free books. I got 2 books for $4.

I was thrilled to come across this bookstore. It is run by a sweet family & offers a large selection of used books as well as vinyls at affordable prices. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely wonderful place. Sylvia is so kind and wonderful. I felt so welcomed and wanted. Book prices are amazing too. I highly recommend checking it out. I'm sad that I am only visiting California and will miss it when I'm gone. Truly wonderful experience ❤️

Love this thrifty bookstore Make sure to come with an open mind and ample time to really look through all the shelves! Sometimes your lucky and find exactly the book your looking for, sometimes the right books find you 🙂 Thankful for the owner for bringing this pillar to the community and having great prices on pre owned books!

Sylvia is the warmest, most loving person I have met. Her bookstore feels cozy and welcoming. If you need recommendations or want to talk about your favorite authors Sylvia has fun recommendations. I have the highest praise for this amazing place.

Such a nice and cozy bookstore, so many of the books I see here remind me of my childhood. The owner even helped me find a book I've been looking for years and coincidentally she had it at her store. They're also having community events occasionally, if you have kids make sure to stop by for the events! Glad i checked this store out.
