CVS

Legitimately one of the worst pharmacies I've ever dealt with. The automated phone system is repetitious and ultimately not helpful. Any of "pharmacists" that return your phone call are more eager to get off the phone than to solve any issue you may be having. Countless times I've had doctors send in prescription refills, only to have CVS "not receive it". This only turns into the customer having to be one to solve the issue for themselves. If I had a closer pharmacy I would go there.

I had a very upsetting experience with the store manager, Charlotte. From the beginning, she had unpleasant facial expressions and an unprofessional attitude. The situation became worse when elderly customer’s Medicare card did not work. Instead of showing patience or respect, Charlotte was dismissive and disrespectful toward the elderly customer, showing no compassion at all. Charlotte also appeared lazy and unwilling to help resolve the issue. She openly stated that she was "having a bad day," which is not an excuse for poor customer service. I tried to lighten the situation by asking if she wanted a hug, and instead of de-escalating, she asked me to leave the store. This behavior was unprofessional, inappropriate, and unacceptable—especially from a manager. Customers, particularly seniors, deserve to be treated with respect and kindness.

CVS at 2009 Wards Road Lynchburg location has always been my favorite pharmacy and to get my personal items. Reliable. Polite. Get things done in a timely manner. Great team effort. Great store and pharmacy hours. Also have all immunizations available.

I love the friendliness and professional care that I receive from CVS. CVS has been my pharmacy of choice for years and many more to come♥️

CVS is very slow to fill prescriptions in general. Also, the complete pharmacy lunch break is obnoxious. I get it that your employees need lunch breaks, but maybe just stagger them like basically every other business that engages in customer service?? I’m taking my prescriptions elsewhere because CVS pharmacy has become very inconvenient.

The regular merchandise is on the expensive side, but that's true of any pharmacy. The pharmacists are very helpful, and they always ask me if I need info when I get a new prescription filled. I always get a text when my prescriptions are ready. I won't mention the CVS receipts that are way, way, way too long.

The tech, very young male with long curly black hair, is extremely rude. Went to get a simple Rx filled, previous tech before him said there would be a 5 min wait, waited 10 mins just for the younger fella to then say another 45 mins… do business else where. Where employees are happy to serve, not short handed & over worked.
