Mizumi Japanese Bistro

First time trying(2/24/26), we've been picking new places we could walk to. Very happy we decided on this restaurant! Definitely give it a try if you like Japanese ramens, Bento boxes, rice noodles, and specialty drinks. They have more options than that too. We ordered lime lemonade, very good and fresh; chicken ramen, surprised on the big portion size especially for the price; spicy korean chicken with rice and zucchini veggies, dinner option but still good price for amount of food; and to go order of fried wontons, which were probably some of the best wontons I have ever had. Definitely would recommend! Give this place a try!

We were here this past 4th of July! We were so thankful that they were opened as almost everything was closed this day! Our server was Derek and he was great. We were a group of six (6) and we all ordered different dishes. Everything was delicious! The food was freshly made with great ingredients. The service was superb. Derek and the whole team were excellent! Loved the whole experience! I definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. Thank you for a wonderful experience! 🥰♥️🥰♥️🥰

This is definitely my personal favorite restaurant in Lynchburg. Highly recommended, friendly staff, great music. It's a little on the expensive side, but it's totally worth it

Loved this place! What a great end to our trip. The general tso was perfectly crunchy, sweet and spicy. The veggies were so flavorful! The steak was so tender 🤌 We also loved the potato shrimp! The music is relaxing and the service was phenomenal. GO. You won’t regret it. (Ps. Prices were also amazing)

My granddaughter and I stopped by for lunch—our first visit. The wait staff was excellent and we really enjoyed our meal! I had the shrimp tempura which was very good (didn’t care for the seaweed salad) and my granddaughter had the sesame ginger chicken with rice and veggies. She loved it!

Edited 9/24: Mizumi has proven itself to be one of the standout restaurants in the downtown area. Consistently delicious food with a wide variety to choose from. Great service has been equally as consistent whether I get takeout or we dine in. There’s no more to say, they check every box

I can't mash the star button enough. The menu is soooo varied, everyone in your party will be happy. Just go.
