I had a great experience at Saylon Seven! I’ve been looking for a stylist to help me in my hair journey as a guy who’s been growing out his hair to go for the flow look. Sabrina was incredible at educating me, cutting my hair, and styling it. She was basically ChatGPT in real life, but better. Sabrina confirmed things I’ve researched online, but she also offered many new tips that’ll be very helpful and keep my hair healthier. It was nice being able to have an experience that wasn’t rushed, was very educational, and felt very personalized based off of what I was looking for.
Se is the best stylist! She really is a color master and she makes a point to explain each step of the process and why she's doing it. She will even explain how certain products work and why we use them. My favorite part of seeing Se is I can tell her exactly what I want OR tell her I have no idea what I want, and it'll end up perfect either way! Truly the best experience, everyone is incredibly friendly, helpful, and experienced!
I cannot be happier with my hair cut by Mak! The entire appointment was amazing from the consultation to the cut and finally styling tips. Saylon Seven has a warm and inviting vibe, all my questions were answered, and I left feeling beautiful ❤️
Mak nailed my curly cut today! They listened to my requests, asked questions, and personalized a style that is so cute and easy for me to manage. I enjoyed chatting with them and my hair looks, feels, and smells incredible! I will definitely be back. Thanks, Mak!
In all seriousness, I'm still waiting for them to call me and tell me my experience was a prank. My stylist didn't greet me (it seemed she couldn't be bothered though she has about 10-20 open appointments each day...and I had to be the warm and welcoming receptionist instead), she didn't wash my hair until I finally had to ask her to do so, she also had very greasy hair (not a good first impression, especially for a professional hair stylist), she didn't cover my back with an apron (what?), she then cut 3 - 4 inches of my hair instead of the 1 inch I requested, she allowed all of that hair to fall all over my backside in the chair as well (none of it was on the floor; dry gobs of it were all over me - which I didn't know she was doing until the end...she just let it happen knowingly), then she had no lint roller, she used no quality products for my hair (no heat protectant, shine booster, volumizing xyz, etc...) she also crinkled my naturally straight hair with a hair straightener (?), she managed to make it flatter and greasier than when I arrived, she didn't have proper tools nor basic techniques down either, she wasn't able to cut my hair like the dozens of other hair stylists all over the U.S have done over the last 30 years...I've never had a problem at a salon anywhere with a basic blunt cut. This stylist doesn't just exhibit blatant incompetence and an obvious lack of passion for hair cutting, but there also seemed to be a demonic enjoyment seeping from her while she engaged in this intentionally horrendous behavior. The stylist next to her literally had to come fix my hair, so I could leave the salon. Worst. Experience. Of. My. Life.
This was the worst hair salon I've ever been to. I asked for a specific hair color and haircut, and I showed them a picture of what I wanted. I asked if they could do it, and they said yes, but the experience was the complete opposite. It took about six hours, and in the end, the result was worse than you can imagine. The color and the style didn't match the picture at all; it was much, much worse. I will never go to this salon again, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There are so many much better salons out there!👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻❌❌❌❌ After watching and reading the reviews, I found that many people are experiencing the same problem (long processing time and inconsistent results).
I have known Ariel for years, and she was my hairstylist when I lived in Eau Claire for school. Moving to Milwaukee, I tried 2 other salons, both of which I had high hopes. Neither had accomplished the vision I was going for. I kid you not, I made the 3 and a half hour drive for my appointment for a hair color update and extension install. I think my photos speak for themselves. Ariel is SO amazing, as I told her my vision and she delivered. She’s fast, professional, and just down right awesome. I will continue to make this long journey to maintain my hair care because I know it’s what I love, and exactly what I envision. No where else in the 715 to go to other than Saylon 7!! Thank you Ariel for making me feel beautiful ❤️
