I have been looking for a good stylist town side for almost a year now and found it with Destiny!! They’re so welcoming and knowledgeable when it comes to hair care and styling. Best wash I’ve ever received. She cleaned my hair up so nicely and really understood what I was looking for. Highly recommend !!

The communication do fix an appointment took long and was unreliable. The hairdresser was kind of overwhelmed with my hair since they are pretty coily (between 4a and 4b). But I expect more from a professional hairsalon that is open for all hair textures. The handling was wrong on things that where basics like combing the hair from the top down when there are knots and not working his way up. Furthermore it took over 2.5 hours for washing and silkpress which I get done in 45 minutes with ny usual hairdresser and the apprentice usually takes 2 hours max. Also 90$ was the price he told me beforehand and asked for 120$ at the end and seemed disappointed as I didn't give a tip. I mean for what? Damaging my hair, pulling on it and taking an ridiculous amount of time to do so. I even felt forced to let him trim my ends. The guy next to him, I guess the barber, didn't even clean his equipment correctly between clients. A little brush and a little spray is not cleaning! Wouldn't recommend going there.

This shop has amazing energy. It is obvious that everyone in here knows exactly what they are doing. You can genuinely feel a comfort from the moment you walk through the door that you are in good hands. Very professional. Mucho love surrounded within this shop. Rich is an amazing barber. Definitely exceeded all expectations to the point that I can confidently say with all my heart that every barber should strive to reach his level if they have not. I give this review with no biased opinion, only my humble thought on my personal experience. You be the judge~see pictures. I have only been cut once by this man, and I am truthfully contemplating changing my own personal barber after 8 years of said barber. This says a lot considering I have been cut by hundreds of barbers from all over the United States. This man knows his craft, and has mastered it. If you are looking for perfection in a fade or beard work... look no further. Rich is your man. FYl I am a super perfectionist about my fade and beard work. 100 out of 5 stars. Thank you again Rich! I’ve been going to katsu for years, and I can’t recommend them enough! They always take great care of me, making sure I leave with a perfect cut every time. If you are looking for someone who truly cares about your hair, go to DESTINY! She did a fabulous job and really listens to what you are looking for and is passionate in what she does. Her energy is fantastic and it's a great local establishment.

Got recommended by a friend and I was not led astray. Ota was professional, timely in communication and a great overall experience. It was my first haircut on the island and I’m sure it will probably be my go-to from here. My stylist was Roges and he was so charismatic, skilled, well versed in hair and super knowledgeable. He gave my curly hair a much needed lift and I will surely be back! 5 stars!!

Jeeda was awesome 😎. Wish I could have found her sooner. She cares about your hair as well as your health. Will see her the next time I'm in Hawaii
