I’m a visitor from California, and I have very thin, soft hair. Back in China, my hair was always cut with layers, but in the U.S. I rarely meet a stylist who really understands how to create that kind of layered shape on my hair type. Lulu was amazing — not only did she give me the layers I wanted, but she also took the time to explain how to properly care for my hair since I’ve had a perm. She shared helpful tips and recommended what to avoid (like using oily products that can weigh my hair down). You can tell she’s extremely experienced, and her technique is confident and precise. The haircut turned out beautiful and natural, and the whole experience felt thoughtful and professional. I highly recommend Lulu to both Asian travelers and local clients in the U.S. If you’re looking for someone who truly knows layered cuts and gives real hair-care advice, she’s the one to try.

Great small local place for a quick haircut. Lulu’s customer service is very friendly and inviting. She’ll make sure you are getting the right cut by asking your input during the cut. No appointment needed, but Due to low number of customers during this times, it is suggested to call ahead and she will be more than happy to set up times at your convenience. I was very content with my Military cut, good blend/fade.

Lulu was able to fit my haircut in the same day. She did an outstanding service, exactly what I asked for and more. She gave me a full assessment of my hair and also cut the hair exactly the way I asked and gave some great advice on how to keep my hair healthy. (Just for context I have short, curly hair.) Price was very good 👍🏽 Probably can’t find much better, especially in this area. Will definitely be back. It’s always nice to walk away from a hairdressers feeling happy 😊
