I have seen Laurel for my skin, tinting and waxing needs for 8 years now. Through two pregnancies and the hormonal changes that come with pregnancy and postpartum she has supported me with feeling cared for and beautiful. She has decades of experience and you can truly see and feel the difference. Honestly I’m emotional writing this because if you have sensitive skin or have had a nightmare of a wax/tint, you know what it feels like to finally have the care you deserve. I’m so grateful for her. The environment is cozy, warm, serene and luxurious as are the treatments. You can see the attention to detail in the space and in her work. It truly feels like a mini spa experience every time I get my brows done and I feel recharged even in that short amount of time. Thank you thank you.

Absolutely loved my experience with Laurel at Solasta Spa! From start to finish, the facial was incredible—Laurel’s technique, her touch, the aromas, and learning more about my skin and products were all so thoughtfully done. I’ve been going to Solasta for about two years now and highly recommend it! The space is beautiful and every room is intentionally designed to be a calming space. This is my go to place to get Brazilians and any other waxing done. Laurel is super kind and fun to talk to and is amazing at what she does! Plus sugaring feels a little bit more gentle than other waxes so it makes me feel more comfortable with it. I recently did a seasonal facial with Laurel as well and it was so relaxing! All the products she used smelled so good. I’ve also gotten a few massages with Laura and don’t want to get massages anywhere else! Laura is really talented, kind and always has the best music playing for a massage. I always walk out feeling calm and content. 😌

I received a gift for a facial and treatment with Hannah. Being 80 years old I wasn’t sure what to expect. The Salon and the staff were so cordial that I felt very at ease and welcome. The treatment rooms are very comfortable and well maintained. Hannah kept the conversation going and explained everything she would be doing so I laid back and relaxed. When she was finished I felt very calm and my skin was tingling. Loved every minute of it and then she helped me pick out some of the products she thought best for my skin. Been using them ever since. Looking forward to my next appointment.

Solasta Spa and the owner, Laurel, are everything and more! I’ve been seeing Laurel for close to 10 years now - I’ve since moved to California but haven’t found anyone close to her skill and attention so I make seeing her a priority for every time I visit. I savor every minute of her facials because her expert hands and top of the line products. But the number one thing that keeps me coming back is that I know she genuinely cares. I’ve found lots of trained and experienced aestheticians, but I know the difference between hands that care and hands that are going through the motions.

I have been trusting Laurel with my skin for over 20 years. I have followed her from different salons and was so thrilled when she decided to open her own place, Solasta. I look forward to my time with Laurel because I know my skin and eyebrows will look great. She has the best skin products and is so helpful with recommending what would be good for me. The salon is a lovely, inviting, peaceful space. Treat yourself to one of her facials-the best! I can't recommend her or Solasta any more highly. This place is a gem in the Uptown area.
