Makaloa Sauna & Spa for Women

My friend and I went, this was both of our first time as Korean Sauna, and we loved it ! It felt authentic (never been to Korea so I couldn't say). It was very welcoming and very comfortable. We did the Makaloa Special Treatment which was amazing! You get 5 hours of pool and sauna time, however, we didn't know that with the oil massage, which was a part of the package, you can't get in the pools afterward. So if you want to do the pools do that first. Also, they have items them but I recommend bringing your own. For example there was no deodorant or hair products. The Jade room is dark and warm, it is a nice place to take a nap. The also had this one open room where we read while relaxing. I definitely recommend checking this out!

My friend and I came here after she ran the marathon. This spa was incredibly healing. I highly recommend the scrub/oil massage combination along with soaking in the cold and hot tubs. They have a wet and dry sauna as well. The owner suggested Korean Garden down the block. She was very kind and brought a warmth to her place of business. You could tell there was a community amongst the patrons.

This is my third time at Makaloa Spa and I will return for many more. My usual body scrub and massage is always great. Mimi is amazing, very thorough and positive. The amenities are clean and inviting and their jade room is very relaxing. Always a wonderful experience!

Wow! My friend and I got package#1 scrub, massage and collagen mask. It was wonderful! It was a very good Masage and I can’t believe how soft our skin is now. The place feels nice and clean and the tubs are lovely! We will for sure some back for sure.

I visited Makaloa spa last year, and it was an incredible experience!! Jennifer and her staff offer amazing service. My friends and I did the Makaloa signature treatment. It was relaxing and refreshing! I had done a strenuous hike the day before, and my muscles felt so much better afterward. I have done Korean spa treatments in the past but this experience offered some unique aspects/stages. And an added plus- parking is very convenient, in contrast to many spas in Honolulu.
