Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

Just booked a 1hr Deep tissue massage for my wife and had to make some last minute changes to the appointment. I spoke with Marge from customer service and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Marge was very polite, informative, and helpful while assisting me with the changes and answered all my questions. She was great, thank you so much! As a business owner myself I love to see employees who treat their clients this way!

I signed up for a subscription at Hand and Stone. The therapist I used was very good at what he does. However, in September of 2025, a day after the payment was made I went into the store to cancel my subscription going forward. For some reason and after giving a 30 day notice, I was notified by the girl at the counter that I was going to incur 2 additional charges. One for October and one for November. I asked her why, she said to me that that is what supposed to happen. No further explanation was provided. Moreover, she said, "well you can use the credit for a massage". I did not like the idea, but I said at least it will not go to waste. Yesterday (12/4/25) I made an appointment for a massage for 7:30pm. Unfortunately, I had a migraine attack and had to take medication that puts me to sleep. As a result, I missed the appointment. Instead of charging a no show fee, which would be well justified, they charged my card on file instead of applying the credit I currently have. Therefore, I went into the store today 12/5/25 at 3:15 pm to see if they can reimburse the money taken out last night. After asking why was I charged for the missing appointment instead of applying my account credit The girl at the counter said to me that "most of their clients prefer to be charged again instead of applying their account credit". I said I am not most clients. Why was I not given an option? She replied by saying that, per management, all transactions have to be completed at the end of the night and therefore a call to confirm your preference was not an option. I proceeded to ask to issue a refund and use the account credit. She said she was unable to issue a refund. I asked for the manager and she stated her manager is out until Monday. I asked her to submit my request for a refund to her manager. She responded by saying she was going to do that but that she did not know if she was going to issue a refund. I will wait until I hear from the manager before I can finalize my thoughts about this establishment.

Melanie is a miracle worker. I went for my first facial last month and when I was finished, I saw the difference. I’ve had a lot of facials done. I haven’t really seen the a difference. To clarify, it was not Hand & Stone that I’ve seen in the past. I just went for the second time and again fabulous I cannot recommend Hand & Stone Enough. I’m seeing Melanie now every monthly. I have had a massage there also Excellent!

I feel annoyed and disappointed with this site.. I made the reservation for an hour of body and foot massages as a gift for the day of St. Valentin for my wife, but on TWO occasions the company did not comply with what was offered, the first day the masseuse did not arrive and at least on that occasion they sent me an email to warn us and reschedule a new appointment, for the second occasion my wife arrives at the site and they inform her that the masseuse today cannot attend her or any other staff of the spa, on this occasion we were never notified either by text or email, unfortunately time was lost and especially the detail of a good service. I do not recommend it for such a bad service.

Carlita gave the most amazing massage!!!! I get massages often but nothing compares to the one she gave! Carlita focuses on problem areas melting away the tension and stress. Paige did an amazing job with my facial. She is sweet and takes her time pampering you! You can tell both of these ladies genuinely love what they do!

This is a top notch and professionally run day spa. Head and shoulders above their competitors in the Goodyear area (all of which I have tried in the past).The environment or ambiance instantly puts you in a good mood. Treatment rooms are very clean with wonderful aromas and the temperature, lighting, and soothing sounds are always just right. I was sold after my first visit and am now a monthly member...which is really an excellent value. I most highly recommend this place.

Alexis was amazing, my wife said it was the best massage she’s ever had. She felt so good after the massage. Alexis was very professional and very detailed with the areas my wife needed more attention with. My wife is getting membership just so she came come once a month and get a massage from Alexis. Highly recommended. 👍🏾
