Omni Viking Lakes Hotel

Wonderful front desk staff! Excellent food and bars! Our suite was amazing, and the new outdoor hot tubs and saunas were such a fantastic touch for shaking off the cold weather! Stay here. Eat here. Celebrate here. You won't be disappointed!

We had the most incredible staycation at Omni Viking Lakes and I can’t recommend it enough. From start to finish, everything was relaxing, seamless, and so thoughtfully done. We started with massages at the spa and were able to enjoy the sauna and salt room afterward, which was such a perfect way to unwind. Later, we checked out their holiday pop-up bar, Blitzen’s, which was beautifully decorated and so festive. Dinner at Ember & Ice was fantastic, especially the cauliflower schwarma.. amazing flavor and presentation! We also attended a ticketed event they hosted - a floating sound bath led by Jean from Crystal Healing Collective, which was such a unique and calming experience. The next morning, I used the fitness center and loved the cold towels they offer..such a simple but appreciated touch. What made the stay even better was that we didn’t have to go outside at all, which was perfect for a snowy, cold night. Omni Viking Lakes delivered a cozy, luxurious, and memorable getaway. We’ll absolutely be back! ❄️✨

I stayed here 2 nights recently for a conference and was really pleased with the stay. I would definitely consider staying here again. The hotel was really clean, well-kept, and quiet overall. The rooms themselves where quite spacious & very comfortable, also had robes & a refrigerator in the room. I am a big fan of having a coffee shop at a hotel, and it made my mornings to stop down there for a drink; staff at the coffee shop were friendly & the drinks tasty. The food we had with the conference was also excellent; I loved that it was fresh & also in line with the Minnesota culture/history. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to others & would stay here again.

We have stayed here a few times and it's a flawless experience every time. The room is always spotless, staff is super friendly, and we love having the restaurants and coffee shop within the hotel (irreplaceable for these MN winters). Particularly we love having drinks in the Ember and Ice bar - so cozy and love all the fun choices of seating! This is our favorite hotel in the Cities for our date nights away from the kiddo!

We have stayed here a couple of times, and really can’t say enough good things about it. The staff are friendly and the customer service is excellent, rooms are beautiful, comfortable and very clean. It is so convenient to have multiple restaurants on site, for food and beverage choices, and the soon to be built outdoor pool and hot tub space will be such a nice addition. We have already recommended this spot for a lovely getaway to many of our local friends. We will certainly be back again!

Great design, great staff, and very quiet considering it's right next to 495. Staff always puts a humidifier in the room, based on past requests (even if we forget to request it this time!). The main restaurant is very nice - good food (great pizza), good ambiance, but can be a bit noisy when 100% full. They are building an outdoor pool and hot tubs which will be awesome. There is a pond and walking path adjacent to the hotel for a nice morning walk. This is our go-to hotel in the Twin Cities.

Loved our stay at the Omni Viking! Our room was quiet and bed/pillows were very comfortable and cozy for a cold winter night. Kynred Hearth has fantastic food!! Everything was amazing but the top favorites were Short Ribs, roasted carrots, baked chicken and olive oil soft serve ice cream! The Blitzen Bar was so fun and festive!!
