Sauna Suites

I had a great experience visiting Sauna Suites in Chelsea. It definitely allowed me to reset after traveling and put me in a relaxed state. The suite is very clean and well kept. The only problem I had was that the bathroom light functioned on a timer, so when I went to shower the light had gone off. There also was barely enough body wash or shampoo left. Otherwise, I really enjoyed trying out Sauna Suites and will definitely be back.

I am editing my review because the owner reached out to me and refunded my money. He explained that a customer broke the door prior to me and he is planning on updating things. While I still stand by my experience, the customer service was top notch. I did not expect anyone to reach out and I definitely didn’t ask or expect him to refund me. This shows he really cares about his clients and wants the best experience for them! The concept of a private suite is truly what will set them apart, he mentioned updates and a new location. I will look forward to trying them out again someday in the future. I don’t usually leave reviews but I feel moved to share my experience. When you first get there you have push the door open as it is broken or not aligned with floor. The ambiance was okay, but the smell of mold was everywhere, which seems very counterproductive to any health journey. Cleanliness was good but this place is in need of repairs / updates! The red light was barely warm, and you need to just stand against one small panel, the sauna was the most disappointing as the temperature barely rose above 140, you barely sweat and it was not inferred like advertised, or if it was it didn’t work, directions said you could change light and temp but neither option worked, you could use clear light or no light, and again the temp never rose only fluctuated between 124-140, the cold plunge was okay, but I couldn’t tell what the temp was I would say somewhere between 50-60 degrees. The shower is on the other end of the room (which is quite big) so you had to walk through the place to get to it and go in between, and again very old, moldy smelling room, the shower and bathroom was dark and the light was on a sensor so it went out multiple times while in the shower leaving me standing in pitch dark. The shower was very old again and not something I would consider a good part of any health journey. Overall anyone who knows anything about contrast therapy will be very disappointed, I rented a 2 hour time and I really just wanted to leave the moment I walked in. I left feeling not rejuvenated but stressed and feeling dirty. I’m from out of town so reading reviews is big for me and again I feel obliged to let anyone who thinks the pictures they show on their website actually represents the experience, will be extremely disappointed as I was. Skip this and go somewhere else.

Visiting Boston for the weekend, did the 2 hour couples reservation, I will confirm the whole space is private and does include sauna cold plunge red light and a lounge area. We had a good time watching a show from the sauna, there are some board games and a private shower in the space. Be sure to watch the video instructions in the email confirmation so you don’t go to the wrong side of the building like I did.

Sauna Suites is a very nice place, but if you’re looking for something more specific for sweating and doing a cold plunge, I wouldn’t really recommend it. The sauna isn’t hot enough and doesn’t make you sweat, and using the facilities feels a bit uncomfortable. The cold plunge was quite cold, and I think that was the only part I genuinely liked—but overall, I wouldn’t go back

hidden gem, must watch the self check in video. It must say its the only actual private sauna experience out there which is refreshing, board games were fun, watched a movie while in the sauna. great for an isolated therapy session solo or with friends.

Accidentally booked twice and I can’t get my money back. Really disappointing, it was a tiny tin with cold water and a sauna I could buy myself with led lights. Was not worth the insane amount of money I paid.

Amazing regeneration of self. This is such a secret... like going to a "speak easy" if that makes sense. I loved the cold bath, infrared red sauna and red light therapy! Go there and rejuvenate!
