Dillon's Russian Steam Bath

I walked in cold and annoyed with the wind but came out feeling so refreshed after my visit. I appreciate the intimate, calm, and relaxed environment at Dillon’s. There’s an old school feel with the written tickets, cash-only, and photos and news articles posted on the wall as you walk in. I’ll definitely be back to sit in the sauna, steam room, shower, and simply to relax after a long day, workout, or to start my day. Thanks Dillon’s team!

I've been coming to Dillons for at least 20 years and it's always been a great place to get a steam and sauna and leave relaxed and rejuvenated. They did a great job on the recent refacing of the steam room tiles, but the new lighting is just too garish - even after it was supposedly dimmed, it feels like I'm under interrogation lights. Every time I think about coming in for a steam, I remember those lights and I change me mind. I get that the desire is to encourage men to behave, but in my experience folks that are so inclined will not be deterred by the bright lights, and people who are looking for a relaxing spa experience will take a break from Dillons or look for other options as I'm sadly considering. It is still the best steam around if you can stand those horrible lights.

I was very unsure of what I was going to be walking into but what I experienced was fantastic. Having everything you could possibly need already be provided is great. The dry heat room was great and a very old world feeling. The steam room was not for me personally but that's not a negative comment on the room, just what I can tolerate. The lounge is also great, plenty of comfortable chairs and TVs to occupy you while you cool off from the hot rooms.

Well, it’s like saying Taco Bell is a Mexican taqueria 😅 — it has nothing in common with a real Russian banya. They don’t sell or allow the use of birch branches or any kind of venik. For some reason, they have a hot steam sauna with stone floors and walls, and people are actually washing inside it with water, soap, and everything, splashing water all over the floor. There’s no proper ‘kamenka’ for the steam. The facility is clean, the staff are very friendly, and it looks like they have no idea that this isn’t really a Russian steam bath lol

Guy was masturbating in the steam room. When told to manager he just shrugged it off and did nothing. I was not the only one complaining. Apparently it is pretty common issue in this establishment. Highly recommend to avoid at all costs!

I had been going to Dillon’s for years. The owner and employees are always pleasant, helpful and accommodating! They have just gone through a much needed renovation and "wow" it came out GREAT! If you’re looking for a Steam and Sauna, and are near Boston, this is the place!
