Asian Spa Massage

I am familiar with the spa and the family for probably more than five years. My experience has been they work hard and always trying to improve. They hope you will let them know what you like and what you don't like. I am familiar with spas that follow the AZ rules for spas. Most established spas require payment in advance. A number of times I have observed customers saying their wallets were in their cars and then driving away without paying. Tipping at a spa is a higher percentage than at a restaurant. Five or so minutes spent with you in a restaurant but much longer in a spa. Tipping is totally your choice. Therapists see far fewer people. I have not had the problems at Asian Spa Massage I have had at many other spas. Parking is easy. The sign is visable from the street. Easy to drive in or out of the lot. Pricing is the same or less than most spas. Prices have not increased a lot in forty years. The spa is very clean. I get the time I paid for. The massages have been good. I have not observed talking in the hall. My massages were not interrupted with incoming phone calls. If a spa knows you, you can pay after massage therapy. If you need something, such as more time on neck consider saying it more than once and also pointing to the area. If you don't think the massage is going well feel free to advise your therapist. I offer all the above with the idea it is a very good spa and the area would lose a quality business if the spa shut down. I am selfish. I appreciate having very good places to go to.

I've been here a bunch of times in the last couple times I haven't been satisfied. I haven't been in a while and decided to give it one more chance. I asked the woman to spend more time on my neck and shoulders in the back of my head because I get headaches. When the one hour massage was over it just dawned on me that she didn't even touch my neck or my skull! She said okay finished bye. I mentioned that she did not touch my neck or my scalp, she said time was up. I understand I paid for an hour but I specifically asked for her to pay extra attention to certain areas. I had to prepay for the massage and since the rest of the massage was decent I decided I was going to give a $10 tip. After signing for the $10 tip she insisted I give her more tip. In the past year they have gone up $20 for the massage and I wouldn't mind give me an extra tip for paying the extra $20 if I received the massages in the service that I received in the past. I won't be going back here anytime soon.

If only I could a negative 5 stars to this place. Do not get swayed by the fake positive reviews. This place is filthy and the masseuse and receptionist are the same. She was constantly on the phone for the one hour long massage that lasted for only 40 mins. And the lady wanted a 30% tip for something I would barely call a massage that cost me $82. Forget about relaxing, your muscles are going to be more tensed after you walk out this place then before you walked in.

How in the world is this place legal? I got ripped off. I was charged $100 tip on my credit card on top of the $80 I already paid for a 45 min massage. I have had lots of massages and what they do here is definitely not a massage. Stay away from this place.

Went in since my neck was killing me and the lady did not know one word of English, did not do a deep tissue massage, it was absolutely silent with no music playing in the room, and my neck feels exactly the same as before I went in. I will never go back.

Best massage I've found in the east valley. Sofia for the win! 12/2021 UPDATE: This spa is just as great as it was when I first reviewed 3 years ago. Recently however, Google had the phone number incorrect so I suggested an edit, using the correct #. The owner changed the hours to 0930-2100, 7 days a week. The hours listed on the front of the spa are incorrect. I also explained that an edit would be faster if they logged into their account as the owner and made the changes themselves. Even with a busy phone or many walk-ins, I've never been shorted on time for my massage. Sofia has always given the allotted time paid for.

This was the worst massage I have ever had. I travel around the country for work and stop for massages frequently. I have had very good luck with the Asian Massage places but this one was not one of those places. First the services was terrible, waited 20 minutes in the room for someone. Next the actual massage was switched out by people who just left the door open to my room. Finally, most of the time during the massage you could hardly tell she was even rubbing. If your looking for a massage, don't go here!
