Tang Chao Spa Ave U

I used to come here all the time, I loved this hidden gem. They had great masseuses and prices. Then, something changed. Instead of thanking me for my tip, they started asking me for more money! I handed a 20% tip to my masseuse and with her head hanging, the guy behind the desk said "she will be upset if you don’t give her more." Excuse me? This is how you lose customers. Buh-bye!

My father comes here about once a month; has a different masseuse every time but they all do a great job. He always says the massage was great. 1 hour massage $45. Happy to leave a nice tip afterward. Keep up the great work.

I’ve been coming to this place for over 3 years now and I don’t have a word to express how grateful I am they exist close by me. Every week I have such an amazing experience here! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere is calm, clean, and welcoming. The staff is professional, attentive, and truly skilled. My massage lady listens carefully to my needs and makes the session perfect! I always leave feeling relaxed, refreshed, and completely happy. Highly recommend to anyone looking for real quality and care! Little secret? They all have magic hands. I love everyone there!

It was my first time and I gotta say the massage itself was done my Amanda and she was phenomenal! The place is clean and the spa music was relaxing. I would give it 5 stars but need to regulate a few things I will list below! 1. The use of CELLPHONES should be prohibited— there was a customer on her phone receiving a facial on her cellphone speaking loudly. 2. They should hire more English speaking employees 3. The rooms should be updated to closed rooms and soundproof rooms 4. The decor should be updated 5. The employees should learn to talk amongst themselves in another room that isn’t by the rooms where customers or clients are receiving services. The only negative thing I can honestly say is the noise of people mainly the employees talking to each other loudly. I am Going back because the massage was great!

I have been to the Tang Chao Spa 2 and really like it so I was passing by the Tang Chao Spa on Ave U and decided to give it a try. I’m happy I did. The staff was nice and pleasant like at the other Spa. The massage was great. I’m happy to have two places to go to now when I want a great massage. Thank you Tang Chao Spa and Tang Chao Spa 2. I love both places. And I highly recommend either one.

Went in at 1 today with no appointment for a foot massage. I spoke Chinese to the front desk so the staff in the room knew I spoke Chinese. I waited for a few minutes and a lady walked out and started speaking to me in English assuming I don’t speak Chinese. She started making remarks about me in Chinese and looked to her coworkers who gave her the looks to be quiet but she didn’t take it. Then she proceeded to ask me in English if I was pregnant? Which I told her no I wasn’t and she said in Chinese remarks about my weight. She looked distracted, talked to people when they walked in and kept looking at me as if she wanted to judge me more. It’s only two stars because her massage skills were good.

I come here with my friend all the time. He really enjoys the back massages. I find them to be very friendly and great at what they do. I highly recommend the facials too. Ada, Linda, and the other staff are super sweet. Unbeatable prices and they deserve a great tip!
