Hi JoAnn- We could not be happier. Your team has been amazing! From the front desk staff-Sarah who checked us in, to Kristi who has been like the quintessential concierge- even arranging a private mah-jong session so we could learn what all the buzz is about - to your servers like Natalie who remembered me from last Oct 🙂 and greeted me so genuinely. My roomie is partaking of every activity. My pace is much more resorty vs her sporty self :). Loved Debbie from last night for the calligraphy - such a doll and sooo prepared and chef Susie with her extraordinary knowledge. We love it here, love our room #13 - the backyard privacy and lake view. Love the fireplace- wish it had crackling sounds. Is that even possible? Appreciate the citronella candle outside - but matches are always too damp to strike and light. Appreciate the small fridge in the room. The linens are to die for. All in all - just fabulous! It's spa day today! You know we will be back!

Lake Austin Spa Resort has become my new happy place.||I had the best massage I’ve had in at least 15 years. I took yoga, meditation, and a balance/fitness class that left me feeling both centered and energized. I did the cooking demo - this kitchen is gorgeous. ||One of the unexpected highlights was playing mahjong with Candace. She’s honestly feels like an Olympian-level coach (if mahjong had Olympians!). She prepares people for tournaments and made the game feel fun and challenging.||There is the blue room, garden library and other cozy nooks (including the gorgeous and cozy rooms!!) to read, relax and feel so serene. ||I loved all the little touches — the bowls of gummy bears, the fresh oranges, the lakeside hammocks where I sipped hot chocolate, and the quiet moments kayaking at sunset. These small details made the resort feel magical.||The food is out of this world. The steak and mashed potatoes are still living rent-free in my memory.||The service was exceptional. Everyone was kind, present, and genuinely caring.||I’ve already booked my birthday trip. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

This place is an absolute gem! With only about 40 rooms, it feels intimate, charming, and wonderfully secluded—like your own private getaway. The food was incredible, but the true standout was the staff. My husband became sick during our stay, and every single team member went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and cared for. By the end of the trip, I knew all of them by name. It’s a great place for a babymoon!

From the time we checked into Lake Austin Spa Resort until we checked out we had everything we needed due to the amazing thoughtfulness of the staff and the well thought out way the resort communicates with guests both before you arrive and during your stay. This beautiful lakeside property is so peaceful and quiet! And, the food was AMAZING! The body and mind work was just what we needed heading into the New Year. We felt so cared for and pampered! We’ll be back!!

A beautifully curated wellness experience. Lake Austin Spa balances boutique luxury with genuine restoration. My skin was glowing after the Valmont Firmness of the Hills facial, and I loved the Bloom to Body by Acerly Farms CBD Recovery Massage. Traveling solo, I enjoyed quiet moments reading by the lake, taking classes at my own pace, and had so much fun at the Japanese wooden sword class, which brought an unexpected sense of focus, calm, and beginner's mind that I crave. It's a place to rest, recenter, and return to.

Lake Austin Spa Resort is a beautiful and serene venue for proposals planned by my company, Amore Austin. Kristen, Denis, and the entire team are always a pleasure to work with before and on proposal day. The property is luxurious and tranquil, with the dock offering a stunning backdrop, and the on-site restaurant is perfect for clients to begin celebrating right away. We truly value our partnership with Lake Austin Spa Resort and look forward to many more magical proposals together.

Lake Austin Spa Resort is by far one of my favorite spas in the world. The resort somehow makes you feel at home no matter where you go on the campus. Everytime I have visited I have made new friends and wanted to hang out with the staff. The water front is both picturesk but also a great place to be active. There are so many fantastic places through out for reading, relaxing, catching your breath, etc. The activities and classes availalbe keep you engaged the entire time and you feel welcome no matter what the activity is or whether you are an expert or a first timer. On my last trip there I took a kayak trip, hiked, relaxed at the pool, learned mahjong, bird watched, went to yoga, made collages and spent a day at the spa. The rooms are beautiful and clean to the point that I hung on in my room for 1/2 a day. The food was spectacular with so many choices and options. Lastly, the absolute best part of Lake Austin Spa Resort is the staff. They make you feel included and like friends. You never feel like you are bothering them, everyone takes the time to talk to you and say hi. They make sure you find you things to do. Leaving them was the hardest part. I will be back again very soon, this is a must do at least once a year.
