DAWON Korean Restaurant

I came here two days ago because I wanted to try something new. To begin with, the lady at the front counter was very sweet and informative, which gave me a great first impression. I decided to order the bulgogi bento box and everything was amazing - especially the mandu, kimchi and cucumber side dishes. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

First time experience here and I was highly pleased with the options of the menu along with the calm quiet atmosphere within the establishment is clean and you self serve yourself when it comes to water and utensils which I don’t mind at all. There are many options I would definitely come back to try more dishes from this place. Everything is fresh and tasty , i got the tdobookie dish with cheese and ramen and a side of kimchi very fresh and tasty (10/10). The young lady behind the counter was very nice and informative

Galbi lunch bento was amazing! The meat was delicious and tender. Every side was great as well. An amazing value for under $20. Atmosphere was laid back and the mom and pop running it were very nice. I will definitely be back

The food here is very good. The tofu soup is the best thing about it, of course, but the sides are great as well. You might not be used to the service as customers need to order at the counter, but there was nothing to complain about for me other than to keep it in mind the next time I come. The restaurant plays music that is calming and you can hear the cooking in the back, which makes for a warm atmosphere. The lady at the counter is friendly as well.

We consistently come here for great Korean food - the galbi is the best in Texas! They’ve never missed once (both in the quality of the food & friendliness of the staff). All the food we have tried here have been AMAZING! The food hits the spot EVERY TIME! I definitely recommend you try this place if you haven’t yet (get the Ssamjang (bean paste) and use it as a sauce for your meat to give it that extra kick)!

Every time I come here the food is 10/10. I have had several things on the menu, and it never disappointed. Authentic, delicious menu. Owners are friendly and welcoming. They take good care of you. Probably one of my most favorite Korean restaurant in the DFW area.

We were looking for something a little more cozy and home cooked than the buffets and this hit the spot! We ordered too much food but I’m not complaining about the leftovers. My Korean mom hasn’t eaten that much in a while!
