Myung Dong Tofu House & BBQ

Myung Dong Tofu House & BBQ is simply a hidden gem for the Korean cuisine enthusiasts in Rancho Cucamonga. Located on Base Line Rd, this Korean restaurant is simple in decor, but it delights with warm service and mouthwatering food. Last Monday, we came here for dinner. The place was empty when we got there. It seems most people prefer takeout or delivery here, likely because of the restaurant’s casual, no-frills atmosphere. We ordered Topokki (Stir-fried Rice Cake) and Beef Bulgogi Hot Stone Bibimbap. Their service was fast and we received our food within 15 minutes. The dinner was served with a variety of appetizers, such as Kimchi, Pickled Cucumber, Salted Fish Cake, and Bean Sprouts - a dazzling array of Korean small plates, that made the meal even more tempting. The food was excellent. The Topokki was spicy and rich in flavor. The Beef Bulgogi Hot Stone Bibimbap was tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Even though the price was a bit expensive, the food justified the cost. We had a great dinner at Myung Dong Tofu House & BBQ and can’t wait to come back.

On a rainy day, I was feeling under the weather and wanted to find a nice place for soup. The soup was piping hot at first and then pleasantly warm — just perfect! The service was also excellent, which made the experience even better. Thank you!

The food, service, and staff were all great. It's hard to find actual Korean food that isn't just Korean BBQ, but this place has amazing tofu, banchan, bibimbap, and of course a host of BBQ stuff as well. It's super basic inside the place and you get exactly what you are after. Prices are good, considering the portion size, and it's just awesome to see that it's family run and operated. Come check it out, give it a chance, and I'm sure you'll be satisfied with the results.

Korean Tofu house in Ontario CA. Decent Korean dishes including doppikki. All of the flavors were pretty good. The staff was nice, the only thing was the place itself was a bit dated. All in all, a very decent Korean Spot.

THIS IS A HIDDEN GEM! My family has been coming here for years! It's always SO GOOD! PLEASE EAT HERE!!! The owner is so sweet!

Best Korean BBQ we ever had! Highly recommend the BBQ rib and fried fish, also all of their tofu soups! Foods are fresh and well made! All staffs are friendly and helpful! A must-come-back restaurant too our whole family.

Very good food, period. Enough meat on the bibimbap to actually tell there's something on top of the rice. Soup comes boiling, not microwaved. Sides are yummy. I don't care where I seat , if there's fancy music or if the servers hop around me . If I want a larp I go to the ren faire. They are attentive enough for a guy dining by himself, and that's a lot to say. I'm gonna be a regular here now, this food is worth it.
