Customer Reviews
Kabuki Japanese Restaurant has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 based on over 1561 reviews on Google
It's a very popular place, I went during happy hour and highly recommend going at this time. The portions seem small but they are very filling. Got about four items from the happy hour menu and I was so full by the end of it. Very nice wait staff. The bathroom was ok. Will be going back
I ate here during happy hour, and I can’t help but wonder if the quality was lowered just because of that. The rolls were cut unevenly and looked sloppy, very unappealing. The salmon and scallop were not fresh, and the taste was disappointing. They also used mayonnaise for the sauce, which gave the rolls a strange sour flavor, and the scallop sushi was clearly made with cheap-quality scallops. The only good dishes were the seaweed salad and the mixed tempura, while the calamari was bland and undersalted. What frustrates me most is that the happy hour menu still lists the same items from the full menu, so why should the quality be any different? A restaurant’s brand is built on consistency, and serving guests lower quality during happy hour only damages trust. Honestly, even the sushi selling at Aeon Mall (a Japanese chain supermarket, you can imagine that you come to Costco buy sushi) in Vietnam looks fresher, more appealing, and tastes better than what I had here. Totally disappointing experience. Check out my photos. Still wonder how this place have 4.1* and more than 1k reviews 🙂
In addition to Japanese cuisine, they also serve Korean dishes. The tempura roll was quite ordinary and not recommended, but the sushi was very fresh with a wide variety of choices. The prices are on the higher side.
Kabuki Sushi is an absolute gem! The service here is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always quick to ensure your dining experience is perfect. The Dragon Roll is a must-try; it’s fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Plus, their happy hour until 6 PM is a steal, with amazing deals that make indulging in sushi and drinks incredibly affordable. Highly recommend for a great meal and excellent value!
This is the first place I ever had sushi, over 17 years ago. Now, 17 years later, I'm back and I love it! The food was good, the service was good, and they have a great happy hour menu. I will be back soon.
This is a great hang out spot. Happy hours are awesome. Can't be picky about the food for the price and $2 beers heck yeah. Drinks are so cute and you can definitely lose time when you are here. The employees are awesome, they don't rush you out, which I love. I've gone back to this place a few times now. Definitely worth it.
I went here around 330 pm and it wasn't busy so we were greeted and sat pretty quickly. Family friendly environment with nice decor and a bar for the adults. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us just enough to male us feel that we were being tended to without overdoing it. We ordered the beef bulgogi, Teri chicken with veggie tempura and Teri chicken and beef plate. The ginseng tea wasn't bad since I'm not a big tea drinker but it was mildly refreshing. I would bring my family again.
