I recently visited the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and it was a wonderful experience. The performance was excellent — beautifully staged and truly engaging. I also really enjoyed the costume exhibition; the collection was fascinating and very well presented. I was pleasantly surprised to see a dedicated wall featuring the Ukrainian flag and photos of Ukrainian performers who have appeared here. It was a meaningful and touching detail. Overall, a great cultural experience that I highly recommend.

First show of the trip, and it was quite the sight to behold. What an absolutely striking performance venue. The impressive atmosphere begins as you approach with the lights, the large open stairs leading to the building, and the luxurious red carpet lining the floor. I absolutely loved that there are free lockers that are self serve and lockable for your possessions and coats. I found this highly helpful as my bulkier pea coat would’ve taken up too much space in my actual seat. I was here to see the American musical Ragtime. This is a show I’ve loved forever, but have never seen more than a couple songs or concert versions of. While the set was minimal, the actors filled the entire room with their captivating and moving performances. I have to highlight our three main leads, Cassie Levy as Mother, Brandon Uranowitz as Tateh, and Joshua Henry as Coalhouse Walker Jr. (in a role I believe he was born to play). These three moved me to tears multiple times. As well as Shaina Taubs rousing performance of Emma Goldman. I haven’t ever wanted a three hour show to be longer but there’s a first time for everything because take me back to before the show please! Go see this critical piece of theatre before it’s closed. You will regret not seeing it.

Still a great place to watch an opera. The lobby is huge with many bars and many restrooms. It is a very relaxed place to go watch a show with people of all types from tuxedo down to jeans. The overall staff handled the fact that it was snowing very hard outside really well by making sure it was safe to walk out by brushing away all the snow and salting the grounds. The show's there are the best in the world and worth the price.

Lincoln Center is timeless New York elegance at its finest. From the grandeur of the plaza to the breathtaking interiors of the Metropolitan Opera House, the experience feels both iconic and intimate. Attending La Bohème was unforgettable—the acoustics were superb, the visuals stunning, and the atmosphere effortlessly sophisticated. Even from the balcony, the view and sound were exceptional. Lincoln Center isn’t just a venue; it’s an experience that reminds you why the arts remain the heart of the city.

Love coming here to watch performances. I've watched a few ballets and an opera, and this building is always breathtaking. The ticketing and box office is very efficient and there's never too much of a wait. The seating is very comfortable, and I loved the small subtitle screens they have for the opera, it made it so accessible. Highly recommend, especially if you can take advantage of their programs for discount tickets.

Saw Floyd Collins back in June and had an absolutely amazing experience. The staff were all very nice and the production was incredible. Staff did a fantastic job leading people to their seats and interacting with the audience prior to the show. The seating in the theatre was very good, as was the audio. I love the way the stage is somewhat in the center of everything, because you feel much more immersed in the production. It felt somewhat relaxing as opposed to rushed and hectic. I plan on going back someday soon!!

The MET Opera is quite an experience especially opening night of a run. People dress to the 9s. Seats are comfy- plus size peeps will feel ok in them (compared to some of the NYC theaters). Super titles are in multiple languages in the chair back in front of you. Only visible to the person directly in front of them, keeping any glare to a minimum.
