IACE - Italian Language Center

If you are interested in getting familiar with the Italian language and culture, IACE is the best place to go to in NYC. Both of my kids have been attending their courses since they were in kindergarten. All teachers are Italian of first generation, Italian is their mother tongue, they are highly qualified, creative and make every lesson fun and interactive. They have been able to quickly transition to remote learning with no loss of interest and motivation from our kids, and found a way to keep their students connected through frequent visits to museums, so that the kids are able to keep contact with their Italian circle. Thanks to IACE, my kids comfortably read and write in Italian, besides being able to have conversations with their grandparents and family members in Italy. My experience at IACE was fantastic! I loved my class and my teacher was excellent. The teacher had us practice speaking right away, which is incredibly helpful when you are learning a new language. I would absolutely recommend taking Italian classes at IACE if you are a beginner, like me, because the curriculum was interesting and I never felt overwhelmed by the material.

I have taken three beginner level courses at IACE so far and could not be happier with my learning experience and I plan to keep coming back. Each instructor has been adept at tailoring the material to the level and learning style of the individual students as well as the group. Most importantly, they know how to make learning a new language fun and engaging, even over zoom. I am inspired and look forward to class every week. Thank you IACE!

IACE is the perfect place to study Italian. I'm from New Jersey and started attending their classes three semesters ago. I'm very happy because I'm consolidating my knowledge of the Italian language and culture in a well founded way. The classes in the intermediate-advanced level cater for students with different interests and backgrounds, which is very convenient to many of us. Due to the current health crisis, classes are offered virtually, with the same excellent teachers, respecting the meeting times and the same level of quality as always. I strongly recommend the IACE of New York to anyone who wants to start learning Italian or who wants to improve their current knowledge and skills.

IACE is doing a great job teaching Italian online. The instructors are really very professional and fully devoted to teach you. The activities are very didactical and they are always willing to go over something that has not been caught clearly and provide other examples. I have tried learning Italian in other schools and/or centres before, but IACE is my favorite!

I have wanted to study Italian all of my life. However, it was the opportunity to study online which presented an incredible opportunity for me, my daughter, my sister and my cousin that led us to you. We are simply THRILLED to do this from home as our teacher is from Manhattan and we all live in NJ. Needless to say, in person would never have happened for us. We motivate each other and look forward to class and practice all week. This is really an amazing experience and so well done online. I am a retired high school principal and my view of this learning experience is that it is outstanding. Keep offering online classes!!

The IACE Italian Language Center has brilliant teachers and a wonderfully effective teaching method, in a warm and welcoming environment. It's the best place I've found so far to study the Italian language.
