New York English Academy

I spent two years at New York English Academy, and honestly, it became so much more than just a place to study. When I first joined, I had a few personal goals I wanted to achieve while living in NYC. Not only did my English skills get so much better over time, but I also ended up making amazing friendships with people from all over the world which I am still very close to. The teachers are very nice people, they’re patient and super friendly. Nicholas, the academic manager is fabulous; I loved to chat with him during breaks. He always took time to help out whenever I had questions about classes or anything else. He was kind enough to help me with some forms that had nothing to do with the school. The DSO was also a huge help, especially when it came to anything related to my student visa — which can definitely get a bit stressful if you don’t have the right guidance! Looking back, I’m really grateful I chose NYEA, there aren't many schools in the city which has weekend classes and it might feel overwhelming having classes from 9-6, nevertheless it was absolutely worth it. It gave me the flexibility and support I needed to work on my goals while enjoying life in my favorite city in the world. Whether it was a field trip or grabbing coffee with classmates after class, it all became part of a super special chapter in my life.

Great space to learn. Had a great day out with teacher Marie at the Drama book shop. Good way to embrace the American culture and language.

 The learning environment was welcoming, and the staff was professional and responsive. Special thanks to Amer, the director, for always being supportive; Sachiko, the DSO, for her prompt and considerate help during my transfer process; Elle, for her engaging and enjoyable classes; and James, who was always quick to assist. I highly recommend NYEA to anyone looking to improve their English in a positive and well-run setting.

I strongly recommend this institution to anyone genuinely committed to improving their English skills at a reasonable cost. The instructors are outstanding. The staff, overall, is excellent; however, James Silva was always professional, reliable and responding to emails promptly and providing invaluable support. New York English Language Academy offers an ideal environment for students to learn and refine their English proficiency.

Best ESL institute in NEW YORK 🙌🏼 Clean tidy , Staff is so friendly they are very responsive. I am a student of Teacher Maria. She taught us about the development process, how to communicate effectively, engage with others, be active, maintain good pronunciation, and the importance of staying calm while speaking. We also had an outdoor exploring experience during which we went to the library for the sake of gaining experience. Currently in Level 3. I hope to keep learning with specially with Teacher Maria in level 4.

I want to tell you how much New York English Academy helped me with my English. It was really good! The teachers were great and I learned a lot. The best part was the field weeks. We got to learn English and see New York City. It's a beautiful city with many things to see. The teachers took us to important places like museums and landmarks. I also made friends with my classmates and we practiced English together. Overall, New York English Academy was a good choice for me. It helped me improve my English and I had a lot of fun exploring New York City. I would recommend it to others.

Excellent English School! This school provides convenient class schedules and has various levels. I went through four levels there and I want to say that my English has really improved during this time. I would also like to thank the professional teaching staff and the office staff that always coordinate and help with any questions in a timely manner. I advise this school to everyone who wants to learn English!
