I have attended this school for many years, and it has truly been a rewarding experience. The teachers are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely caring—I often stayed after school just to talk with them. They are always supportive, attentive, and quick to notice if a student is going through a difficult time. While the classwork can sometimes feel challenging, the teachers make it manageable and ensure that every student has the resources to succeed. For those who participate in sports at other schools, HSHP provides convenient transportation and even schedules it as a class, making it easier to balance academics and athletics. The school also offers engaging activities, such as the Phoenix Games, which encourage teamwork, keep us active, and give us a well-deserved break from studying. I sincerely hope others will enjoy this school as much as I have in my childhood. <3

Great school with many great teachers who are very skilled in their practice. Very welcoming and friendly staff and students. No conflicts have occurred during my stay. A great place for learning above your grade level. I would definitely recommend it to anybody searching for a high school to swap to.

The school itself is great. The head principal Garza is awesome and kind, but some of the teachers have made students cry. When you decide to leave the school they do not grant you the credits you worked so very hard for which is a real cause for concern. Another problem is the front office clerk Ms. Molina. She is very rude & very unprofessional! When I called about a dispute for the bookkeeping the first time, she hung up on me 3 times. I had to call back & be transferred again & again & again. When I called the next week because they had confirmed to have cleared my child but were still calling & sending me messages, Ms. Molina again was very unprofessional by LYING! and saying she was the bookkeeper! After I confronted her with details of the conversation I had with their actual bookkeeper she then claimed the bookkeeper was not there & was going to be out for the next week and a half and that I would have to wait to speak with her! This woman uses her authority to take out on personal vendettas. The school in itself is great but the staff not so much. The teachers should be patient with students and not be so hard on them as they are learning. They should also have an office clerk who is helpful, courteous, understanding and a true professional.

Poor administrators rude to students, stop cutting them off when their trying to talk
