Weld County School District 6

Your bus driver Wendy Bliss is a lawsuit risk. Funny how my opinion on the speed trap vans turns in to me being a reckless driver that speeds when I hace a squeaky clean driving record. Might want to do something about her because my next move is bring a suit against the district for defamation since shes now the mouth piece for your image. Funny how she wants to go off on me about those things when she should be driving the bus amd keeping kids safe and not using FB well driving but I think DOT wpuld love to know one of your bus drivers is using her cell phone well driving and putting kids lives in danger because her fragile ego was hurt by an opinion.

Teachers and principals need to speak to children the same as they would to an adult. Not talk down to them or belittle them children will never forget that great teacher but also the ones that have hatred and don’t realize they are there to teach.

Constant runaround. No one can rectify problems with instructors. Tired of my kid crying because his teacher won’t help him. At this point I’m really questioning the education level of these teachers! You can request meeting after meeting and they just slowly try to blame your child instead of instructing the teacher how to teach! Can’t wait until the year is over so we can get out of this district.

All my children went to district 6 schools. They allow bullying by students. If you try to remove your child due to bullying they’ll just take you to court and blame you and your child for absences. But they expect you to send your child there to be harassed? Mrs. Jacoby physically abused my daughter and this was in the 80’s! Mrs. McClendon was a nightmare for all of my kids. She was mean and yelled at my daughters on multiple occasions for mistakes they made. Now my grandchild goes here but is attending online. There are many problems. Computer problems, communication issues, and scheduling issues. Ms. Gray in particular really needs to take a refresher course. I’m not sure if she is a teacher or teachers aid or maybe neither? She doesn’t know how to handle small children and should work in a Highschool if her credentials allowed. If you have to go to District 6, I would highly avoid their online program and I would do research before selecting a school. After 30 years they’re still a terrible district.

This is the worst district that we have ever attended or dealt with. No one knows how to return phone calls to address your concerns. The teachers and staff is more worried about picking at petty behaviors then actually doing their job of teaching our children. This just shows that nowadays teachers are lazy and more concerned about collecting a paycheck then actually caring whether this generation of kids succeed. They would rather suspend and kick out then teach or correct behaviors. My student will get suspended for exercising his first amendment of freedom of speech. Seriously. Take away funding and bring in better teachers or schools.

Nothing has changed in 30 years. Some teachers are great and some are terrible. It’s hit or miss honestly… glad the year is half over! Depending on next years school, we’ll see if my review changes. Hopefully it goes to 5 stars. Fingers crossed for a great next year!

How is 3 miles walking distance to school safe ? That would mean middle school would ha e to leave the homes a hour or more before school and then walking home in the dark, they would be exhausted by the time they got to school, and to tired to do home workIn this world with kids going missing how is this safe. My grand son leave by walmat on 10th and is going to Northridge HS that is to far for him to walk , and I dont feel safe him taking the city bus, and what about kids in elementary and middle schools ,we have got to change something about this .
