Genbu-Kai Karate of Michigan

My son has been going to this dojo for a while now. The whole team here is great! They are always coming up with new ways to keep it fun and engaging to keep the younger kids attention.

This is an excellent karate dojo! All the instructors are amazing with kids and the kids all really enjoy their time there. My daughter has been going for over 4 years now and has made many friends. They also have many tournament opportunities throughout the year which is always a good time and she looks forward to those. I couldn’t say enough good things about this dojo. Strongly recommend!

Our daughter LOVES going here! It's challenging, fun, and keeps her active. We love watching her learn and grow in the classes. Dance wasn't for her, but she looks forward to this every time. Makes us proud! The teachers are all excellent, patient, kind, and firm--all great attributes!

My daughters have been going here for several years. It is a wonderful environment and the instructors are awesome with the kids. They are incredibly patient yet still push for all students to get better. They always find ways to keep the kids engaged.

My son enrolled a little over a year ago and has enjoyed every step of his journey. He has become more confident, and is proud of how he has matured in his skill of the art. Karate, and this dojo, have been a very pleasant and rewarding experience for our whole family.

My son has done 3 years at Genbu-Kai and has loved every moment of his karate journey. The teachers and staff are the best. So welcoming and knowledgeable, they make every student feel like one of the family.
