I highly recommend seeing Colleen at Alkali Hair Studio! This was my first haircut with her, and I could not be more pleased. Coming from someone who is very picky about my hair, I can confidently say that I loved my cut leaving the salon. Her experience and training made me feel at ease, and she also asked a lot of questions to really understand the look that I was going for. She took her time in cutting me hair, never made me feel like we were in a rush, and she styled it beautifully. I have medium-long hair and wanted long layers with face framing, and she executed on that vision seamlessly. I already have my next appointment booked with her 🙂

I had a great experience at Alkali! The place itself is lovely and everyone is super friendly. I got my hair cut by Heather who was simply wonderful. She knew exactly how to work with my curls and gave me just what I was looking for. She has the best vibes and made me feel so welcomed! I will 100% be coming back. 🙂

Fantastic experience from the moment I walked into the salon. Genuinely friendly front staff and Amber my stylist/owner was exceptionally knowledgeable and low-key, and my cut was flattering and perfect to manage. All around exactly what I was looking for being new to the area. The products she recommends actually work and don’t irritate my sensitive skin. I would give six stars.

I saw Courtney yesterday for a consultation for the first time. She was extremely thorough with her explanation of what we could do to my hair and attentive to some additional concerns I have. She even talked about a long term vision for my hair that will better accommodate my lifestyle. She also recommended some products for me to use, per my request (she didn't try to push anything on me), and she gave me multiple price points to choose from. I am very excited for my first appointment, I feel confident that Courtney is going to do an excellent job and leave my hair looking beautiful.

Mary Lea was amazing in every way possible. I am naturally a shy person and a bit of an introvert but her warmth really made me comfortable. She not only made me comfortable but also helped me with understanding how to properly take care of my hair and kept me engaged throughout. She made this experience wonderful and I can’t wait to see her again!
