I will never go to this place again. They think my time is not important? Think again! I could never support a place that treated me the way I was treated today. They canceled my appointment without informing me. My weeks, my days are extremely busy and they feel this is ok? I rushed through my day and arrived to find my appointment15 minutes ahead of time to find my appointment was given to someone else. I even received a confirmation email yesterday. I was told it was graduation weekend and very busy. WTH?! I had my appointment set. So you cancel one customer with an appointment to take another that dioesn't have a spot? Be very wary of this place It's not that they ever did a very good job, but it's just that it was close. l'a rather go someplace farther that. treats the customer better. It's for the best, ultimately, but I don't like being treated the way I was treated andl I don't like my valuable time wasted. Shame, shame, shame on O Salon. You lost me as a customer forever though I know you don't care as is evidenced by your actions. Unreal!

April 15 Back to O Salon for a Keratine Treatment, thanks to Guillaume's recommendation. It was far more intensive than I expected, but the experience was relaxing, and my hair has great shine and volume. This is an oasis of calm and loving service. Merci. Feb 7 2014 Great color and cut today; I received so many compliments today at a holiday luncheon. I have been a client of O Salon since it opened (2000). I followed Guillaume from his former salon because he is such a rare talent. He loves what he does, he cares about his clients, and he is always pushing himself and his colleagues to deliver the best service in Washington. I came from New York, have lived in Tokyo, London and Melbourne... and for quality/value there is no better salon on the East Coast that delivers this kind of service for a very fair price. My hair always looks pretty, stylish when I leave, I always get compliments on my hair color and I feel soothed on the times I go there. I enjoy every person who works there, it is like a family. In fact my three 20 something children have their hair cut there, many of my colleagues and close friends all love O Salon here in DC. Feel confident in trying this gold standard in quality service without being stuffy or pretentious. You will be pleased with your decision.

Guillaume and Soner are the best stylists ever…not only does Guillaume give me the most natural looking color and the absolute best cut and blow dry ever but he and Soner make my husband and I feel like family…and I must say Rosa…Guillaume’s assistant…is hands down the absolute best and all the staff are warm and welcoming…I wish I lived closer and could have my hair shampooed and blown dry by Guillaume several times a week! Love O Salon!

Highly recommend! I have been a client for years and would never go anywhere else. Love my balayage and cuts from Guillaume. He is a true artist. If you are looking for natural, healthy looking hair he is your stylist! They also carry their own line of products which I love! The salon is beautiful and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Save your time and money and avoid this salon at all costs. I am genuinely appalled by the experience I had today and the sheer unprofessionalism demonstrated. My mom has been seeing Aldina for several months now to have her roots touched up without any issue. Today, after months of consideration and discussion with Aldina, she decided to do highlights for the first time with her. As someone who has not had highlights done for over a year now due to the fragility of her hair, my mom was understandably nervous to be taking such a big step with her hair. As Aldina worked through the process of highlighting the hair, my mom asked her a simple question to make sure the color hadn’t been on too long in an effort to avoid breakage since Aldina was overbooked and working on several other clients in between. Instead of responding in a contextually appropriate manner, Aldina decided to snap and started going off about how she is tired of answering "the same questions over and over." Not having the confidence to do your job correctly or being "stressed" is one thing, taking it out on the client is another. Her behavior was not that of an emotionally stable professional. I am not sure how this salon has the audacity to call themselves a high end salon when you could find a better level of customer care at your local Hair Cuttery. When I approached Soner, one of the owners, to raise my concern with the situation we had just experienced, he apparently failed to see any issue. Instead of being professional and trying to see how he could remedy the situation, he told me he "doesn’t know what I want from him" and that he couldn’t do anything without hearing both sides of the story. This isn’t a court case! As a paying client who has never been anything but generous and respectful to all in the salon, this is beyond unacceptable and we should absolutely not be having a back and forth over whether or not it’s acceptable to disrespect a client out of nowhere. Unfortunately my experience with the ownership made it all too clear that a culture of professionalism and respect is not one that is enforced in this salon.

Amazing! As a long-time client, I continue to appreciate how the O Salon team, particularly each stylist, offers a special experience at every visit. I recently started seeing Aldina after she cut my son's hair. From color services to the cut itself, she was able to incorporate my requests, make suggestions and leave me delighted with the results. Jessica provided a sensational shampoo service on Saturday that is possibly the best I've ever had. I'm deeply grateful to the entire staff for all the ways they have served our entire family through the years, including throughout challenging COVID-19 restrictions, with care and kindness. From providing my sons first haircuts years ago to doing their more recent high school and college yearbook portrait styles, the O Salon team also offered incredible service to my mother when she was ill. O Salon does more than cut & style hair, it creates lasting relationships.

I have been going to O Salon for years and praise it highly to family and friends. The atmosphere is calm, friendly, and professional. Everything is so well managed. Guillaume always works his magic with my partial highlights and hair cut, and I also appreciate Rosa's attention to the details of the shampoo experience. I feel pampered and relaxed whenever I leave.
