Alex gave me the best haircut I'd ever had in 1999, and I have stuck with her ever since for excellent styles that look great and fit my lifestyle, whether that's for a high-level professional meeting or a few weeks of active travel. She is amazingly talented and every single time I get my haircut someone comments on just how good it looks. I recommend her highly!

I don’t normally write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for Alex. I loved my hair when I left my appointment but I waited over a month to write a review to see how my cut and treatment held up when I was left to style on my own. I could not be happier. The treatment she gave me has kept the friz away and the cut is perfect for my lifestyle and hair type. I have received so many complements. Thanks Alex. I’ve been going to Alex for keratin treatments for nearly 5 years, and I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair. I have fine, wavy hair that gets frizzy in the DC humidity, and Alex’s treatment completely transforms it so it's smooth, manageable, but still has some movement. Beyond the results (which are always flawless), Alex is warm, professional, and clearly an expert in her craft. She takes the time to explain everything, never rushes the process, and genuinely cares about maintaining the health of your hair. It’s rare to find someone so skilled who also makes you feel so comfortable in the chair. She’s worth every penny. Alex has been my stylist for nearly 20 years. Life has taken me away from her but I always find my way back! I live in another time zone now but still travel to see Alex. She is an amazing talent and artist. She takes pride in her work and has amazing attention to detail. She has helped me look my best for everyday and high profile events. It is very hard to find a stylist who cad do color and cuts for short hair. And Alex is the very, very best. I cannot recommend her enough!

I've been seeing Alex for permanent hair straightening (Yuko) for the past three years, and can only say she does incredible work. Before meeting Alex, I had this process done with varying results, but she is a master at her craft. My hair is long, thick, and wavy, and it's so evident that she's knowledgeable and meticulous about the whole process, ensuring that you're informed and comfortable throughout (important when you're in the chair for six hours). The treatments last about a year for me before I have to come back for a visit. Finding Alex has been an absolute game changer, and I was happy to follow her when she switched salons. Completely recommend!

Alex has been doing the Yuko treatment on my hair for ~4 years, and has provided me with amazing results every time. I have very long hair, and so the treatment typically takes about six hours for me (though lasts about 9 months before I need a touch up). She never rushes through it, and very clearly takes great pride in her work (as she should!). I would highly recommend Alex & Molecule Salon to anyone - thanks Alex!
