Adam Kin Hair

Happiness starts with an excellent cut, and Adam Kin is the cut master. He is the one I recommend to my friends, colleagues, and neighbors. He cut my hair at a previous salon, so when that closed, I was really happy to find him at this new location. Adam consistently cuts my thin, fine, straight hair to just the right shape, length, and texture. I then get lots of compliments on my hair. Adam communicates thoroughly, asks questions, listens carefully, and understands what is needed for the look we discuss. He is an architect/sculptor for hair. I am so grateful that he chose this career path! Another impressive feature of Adam’s work is his process. He is focused and uses his time and mine well. And he’s just a wonderful person. Oh, ask him about his hair colorist, too. As for the salon, it is light, open, airy, peaceful, elegant, and on a lovely street. For me, an oasis. (Coffee, beautiful small shops— all nearby. Go show off your haircut!) Next time, I will take a photo.

Adam has now given me two of my most favorite haircuts in my life!!! I’ve seen his work on a number of different hair styles and variety of clients and they’re always perfection. He also works fast, which is super convenient, but his efficiency never compromises the final result. I’m shocked how quickly he can cut and blow-dry my long thick hair — but mostly in awe of how great it looks/feels even after several weeks of growth.

I was delighted to find Adam working at this new location after being his client at ILO, which is now permanently closed. Adam is a talented and versatile stylist. My younger daughters have long, thick hair, and I have thin hair in contrast. Adam manages to do an excellent job with our three very different styles. He works diligently and achieves a superb cut every time through his meticulous attention to detail. I find the new salon comfortable and modern. I highly recommend Adam's work!

Adam is one of the most talented hairdressers in Georgetown and the DC metro area. He began cutting my hair a few years ago when he worked at Salon Ilo which recently permanently closed. He listens to what I want and always gives me a great haircut that suits the shape of my face. His work is meticulous and his attention to detail results in a superb haircut that keeps its shape well as it grows. If it was possible I would give him more than five stars. I highly recommend Adam!!

Adam has completely transformed the way I feel about my hair. I’ve been getting haircuts from him for nearly three years, and every time, he makes my hair look less bulky and frizzy while keeping it easy to manage at home. The products he’s recommended have been amazing, especially for someone like me who doesn’t enjoy spending a lot of time getting ready.
