CHOP Barbershop - Eastside, Tallahassee

I LOVE this shop and LaSabre!!!! She ALWAYS understands the assignment I bring and she is real about what my hair can handle. We always have a little chat session while we work and it's just overall a very pleasant experience. I always look forward to my hair appointments for days because if I don't know anything else I DO know LaSabre is going to take her time and do things right and that I'm going to walk out looking right 💯 The photo is from today and I included a before as well 👀 GO SEE THEM.

Awesome shop and customer service!!Biggest concern with moving to the area was finding a spot I would be comfortable with cutting and dealing with my long/ short hairstyle, as I was with my last barber 10 years. Chop and Jill lifted those concerns within the first few minutes. Great cuts, great shop, great prices and great talks. Highly recommend 🤟

I could not have asked for a more caring, attentive, and fun person to have cut my hair today! Jill was a true professional and made me feel so comfortable and confident. This was the first time I’ve had bangs, besides of curtain bangs. I was super nervous but I showed her my inspiration pics and she worked her magic and more! (As you can see by these pics!) She also helped by showing me how to style and work them for when I am on my own. Thank you Jill and Chop for all your hard work and for always making the experience a 10/10 for me! ❤️

Jill is amazing! She was fun and engaging and really made the entire experience a wonderful one for my 6 year old daughter! We asked for a shoulder length cut and Jill suggested some layering to go with it. It turned out super cute and my daughter has already requested we go back to see Jill when it’s time for another haircut 😀

My original appointment got a bit messed up since I had booked online. The staff was amazing at accommodating to get me in. I ended up with Jill who was incredibly skilled and talented. She worked overtime to get my hair perfect, and exactly the way I wanted it. Everyone was really knowledgeable about the products and took a bit of extra time making sure I would be happy with what I left with. My hair looks amazing, Jill is a star, and I'm thrilled with everything else. 10/10 experience

Chop Eastside is a great shop! I've been going to Paige Martin for years and she has a gift with both color and cut. She has taken my hair platinum blonde, lilac, gorgeous highlights, even managed to get sonic-the-hedgehog blue out when I thought I was cool enough to have blue hair and then hated it. I wear a pixie cut and she knocks it out of the park every time and when I haven't been able to get back in within a month or so, her cuts grow out beautifully into new styles. Almost everyone in the shop has cut my elementary age son's hair and I've been happy with it. Fun atmosphere, I always enjoy going in there

I never leave reviews, specially negative ones but I could not have been more unhappy. The initial aesthetic of the shop was very fun but we were not greeted with any warmth or professionalism at all. I took my son here to get a much needed haircut. He showed his stylist an old photo of himself and how he wanted his hair cut and before we knew it the cut was over. Maybe 3 words spoken to him in the 10 minutes we were there. His hair looked nothing like the photo. I paid for the cut and tipped because I feel it’s wrong not to but I will have to now cut his hair myself because I just spent $50 on a horrendous cut. It seemed like the stylist was annoyed that we walked in at all (and we had an appointment). The only time she was pleasant was after we paid and were saying goodbye. Terrible work and terrible service to top it off. I have not been to other locations and have only been to chop once so it may depend on your stylist or location so keep that in mind when judging based on this review
