Customer Reviews
Lux Salon & Spa has a rating of 4.8 out of 5 based on over 615 reviews on Google
Katie is Absolutely Fabulous! Super skilled, elegant, and perceptive. Her color foil work is impeccable, she has training and credentials. Harmonious and efficient, she keeps me informed of each step of my appointments.
Franky was a delight! My original stylist wasn’t able to come in for my appointment and I had to wait for a little bit after my appointment time, but all the staff were so lovely. I really appreciate the staff's kindness and flexibility during my appointment, and I was in love with the partial balayage and hair cut that Franky gave me. I didn’t like my hair at all when I arrived, but by the time Franky was done, I was so happy!! I highly recommend anyone book with Franky. Thank you!
The stylist was very nice and I really liked meeting her. She was enjoyable and friendly. If I could just rate her personality, it would be a 5/5. However, my haircut was not good, and I didn’t realize how bad it was until I got home. That’s partly because I have very long, very thick, fine hair that isn’t very forgiving — I know it’s difficult to cut. But the result was choppy and uneven in the back, with a noticeable chunk sticking down in the middle. Unfortunately, it ended up being the second-worst cut I’ve had. I also want to add that I’m a little frustrated, because I called both the day before and the morning of to make sure my hair would be a good fit for the stylist I was booked with. I tried to be very upfront about the length and density of my hair, and I feel like a more advanced stylist may have been a better fit. When someone says they have fine, thick, three-foot-long hair, I feel like that should default to at least an intermediate-level stylist. To be fair, I didn’t realize the issue until after I left. I was never shown the back of my hair, so I didn’t have a chance to ask for corrections. The stylist may have been able to fix it if I had noticed before leaving. She was kind, and I appreciated her attitude, but unfortunately the cut just wasn’t a good match for my hair type or expectations. I think this was more of a scheduling issue than the stylist skill issue. I lost confidence and decided to go somewhere else to fix it. The front desk at this new place knew exactly what to ask and said because my hair is so specific, they only have 2 out 14 stylist they would recommend. This is what I expect from salons when communicating about my hair, and I did not get that here. EDIT: Update to add two more photos. It got worse after I washed it and dried it. I am honestly shocked at how bad this cut is. Not a single part of it is even. It's two inches longer in the front on the left side too. However, I am upping my rating a bit because it is clear the salon owner cares and tries to make things right. I believe this salon and the stylists are still probably great to go to. Just not for me.
Franky and the entire team here are amazing. It doesn’t feel like your traditional salon where you feel you have to fit a specific vibe. Everyone is sincerely and equally as caring and nice which is a rarity. Franky gives the magic touch in not just his professional work but in the way he talks to his clients and his team. Franky cares about the client experience over the amount of money he can pull in, which means a lot to me as someone who wants to have a long term relationship with my stylist that consists of trust, transparency, and predictability. I got lucky to have found a stylist like him and this entire team at lux. I will stay loyal to Franky and Lux for as long as I can. I know I am in good hands with Franky and everyone here.
I’ve been going to this salon the past couple years getting my lashes done. I’ve had lash extensions before and now a lash lift, with service provided by the excellent Laura! She real listens and cares about your well-being. Plus I am known for sensitive eyes, so I tear up a little bit but that’s just how my body reacts. Fortunately, she knows how to still get the job done and I am so happy with how my lash lift turned out! Will be staying loyal to this place for awhile 🙂
Franky did an excellent job with my hair and truly listened to what I was after. It was a big change for me, and he was so thoughtful and attentive throughout the entire process, making sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. I couldn’t be happier with the result! I highly recommend his services and will definitely continue working with him for all my future hair needs.
I had my makeup done here and it turned out absolutely beautiful! Laura really listened to what I wanted and made me so comfortable the whole time the look was flawless natural, gooey and lasted all day. I got so many compliments! I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this salon to my friends!
