This salon has such a clean and inviting environment as well as a professional staff. Sheena did my hair today and she is insanely talented. My blonde always looks perfect. Bright and icy. Not to mention I felt so safe getting my hair done here during this pandemic. They are taking every precaution to keep people safe. I would highly recommend.

Rebekah is absolutely fantastic! She gives me gorgeous layers that help my fine hair lay just right. She is the only person I trust to cut my hair in Washington.Booking an appointment is easy and convenient.

Love Sheena - she is an amazing colorist and really takes the time to make sure you get what you want. Very talented and friendly team of experienced professionals. The salon itself is conveniently located, and I appreciated the spotless, modern decor. Highly recommend!

This is hands down the best salon in Tacoma! I've been coming here since Drake Nelson first opened, and can say with full confidence you will have an amazing experience. Not only is the salon beautiful, like something you'd want to remodel your home space after (all their plants are so great!), it's such a fresh, clean, comfortable atmosphere. I genuinely look forward to coming in not only for my hair, but a relaxing and uplifting experience as well. I always see Marie and she is truly amazing, but everyone I've met and watched do hair during my appointments are really great as well. It's truly just so much fun going here, and such a relief to have a stylist I trust. Everyone here knows how to do all the most popular and trending looks super well too; literally everyone I see with finished hair while getting my own done looks so good. I'm naturally a dark brunette who is forever seeking that soft beigey blonde balayage look, and Marie has been a joy to work with in accomplishing that goal. She is always very honest and upfront about what process we'll need to use to accomplish the look I want. I finally have hair I really love and it's thanks to her! Go see Marie!

Rebekah is a wizard ... I go in there feeling totally frumpy and leave feeling like a princess! I’ve been getting my hair highlighted for a long long time and have always had visible roots right before it was time to get my hair done again but not with Rebekah at the helm ... I don’t know how she does it! And she listens. Never has she over cut my hair or given me a bad bang trim. She does exactly what I ask her to do. Amazing! Drake Nelson is a super cute modern and fresh salon and I highly recommend Rebekah as a hairdresser.

Sheena did an amazing job on my hair! I wanted a subtle yet noticeable change and she delivered the perfect color. Also a shout out to the most comfortable sink bowl around! No strain on my neck at all. Little touches like that go a long way for client comfort.

It has taken me a decade to find a salon like this! Baylie is a true artist in her craft and I am so grateful I have found this place. Not only does my hair always look on point, but I enjoy having a stylist that I can have great conversations with.
