I got baby highlights done by Anthony, and I’m so happy with the result! He took the time to consult with me about what would best fit my hair and face shape. The highlights blend perfectly with my natural black hair, so soft and natural-looking! The whole team is super professional and passionate about what they do. They even go to training 2–3 times a year to keep learning and improving their skills, you can see it on their Instagram! The salon itself is open, clean, and aesthetic, and everyone there was so friendly. Highly recommend!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by the same stylist for over 20 years, so trusting someone new was a big deal for me. My previous stylist recommended Tina at J59 Salon before moving out of state, and I’m so glad she did. Tina has absolutely knocked it out of the park every single time. She listens, pays attention to detail, and knows exactly how to get my haircut right. On top of that, she’s incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. As long as Tina is here in the Bay Area, I won’t go to anyone else.

I followed Tony (Anthony) from the former location. He revived my damaged hair. I literally trust this man with my life. I just tell him "I want it short/long, do what you want" and it’s always STUNNING. His aesthetic choices are unmatched. My family has been seeing him for 5 years. Got my bf to go and he won’t see anyone else. Price covers itself because hair always grows out beautifully between cuts.

I've been going to J59 for years, since they used to be on Castro Street in Mountain View. I have always been satisfied by their services. I've specifically been seeing the stylist, Tina, for 9 years. She cuts my hair perfectly! Nowadays I don't even tell her what to do, she just knows exactly how to make my hair look great. Love this place!!!

Outstanding service and atmosphere! J59 is super friendly, welcoming, and the team has amazing teamwork. I always love the music! I highly recommend Tina! Anthony is the best hairstylist I've ever had! Hands down the best in the area.. don't go anywhere else, however I may not be doing myself a favor by saying this hopefully I will still be able to get an appointment after writing this So I've known him for at least 7 years, and have been seeing him this whole time. He doesn't disappoint, listens to your requests carefully and delivers always on point. Only he can cut my straight hair with accuracy and the style I want. I've tried many stylists, trust me on this. When it comes to coloring, I love getting baby lights from him. If you want something that will damage your hair, he will straight up let you know and will advise to do something better for you based on your situation. He saved my hair from great damages from another stylist, for which I am grateful to him. The salon moved to a new location recently, and the vibe is more modern, light and has great restaurants nearby. Not to mention the parking lot right across the street has EV charging. That was a double win for me! Call this place and make an appointment, you won't regret!

The salon is clean and modern, and the staff is very friendly, always greeting me by name when I come in. Very easy parking across the street. Highly recommend!
