I’ve had my curly hair cut here several times now, and it’s always a great experience. The attention to detail is incredible—they truly understand curls and how to work with them, not against them. Every time I leave, my hair feels fresh, healthy, and beautifully shaped. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and relaxing, which makes the whole visit feel like a treat. You can tell they really care about their clients and take pride in their work. I always leave feeling confident and happy with the results. Highly recommend for anyone with curls looking for someone who gets it!

I had a great experience at Beyond Veneer with my stylist Julez. I really needed help with my hair and the one thing I LOVED, I wasn't pushed to dye my hair like other hair places. I have to say that. Not at all. The salon itself is chill and Julez is now my stylist because I really have to say much, she did my hair how I wanted, and not pushed on anything. Both my hair and head feel so much better.

I got a dry hair cut, a scalp treatment and hydration. When styling Beverly made sure I understood all the steps and gave me alternatives so I could do it at home. I got out really happy with my hair. I just wish it wasn't that expensive. But it's standard in the bay.

I found this location from a search for curly specialists. I loved that the website was clear with pricing so I knew I could afford as a lot of curly cuts tend to be so pricey. I later found a friend went to the same location with great results. The atmosphere is clean and simple. Loved the complimentary drinks and spa like smells. I worked with Beverly and she was very knowledgeable and kind. She listened to my wants, asked great questions. She gave me step by step instructions on how to take care of my care from wash to style. I added on the detox wash and my hair felt so soft and smelled great. I was shocked that she was able to give my 3c thin hair definition while being a soft no crunchy curl. The shrinkage was a lot as she barely cut and just shaped my hair. It was a great first experience with a curly cut and style. I booked my next appointment and I invested in the shampoo and conditioner... I hope to recreate the curls.

I searched for over a year for a curly hair salon, not sure how i missed this salon for so long, they are amazing for curly hair. Julez was so very patient and not only gave me an excellent haircut but spent the time to teach me how to style my hair at home. more importantly, she gave me the language to use to discuss my hair to get a style I like, and avoid ones i wouldn't. She also planned for the future with a strong instinct for what I need today as i wait for my hair to grow out. Additionally, she helped me understand what products to use and how, as well as explained the mixed textures in my hair and where they were more prominent on my head, giving me more agency and control when I am at home trying to make it work when I am without a professional.

I went to beyond veneer only once and I won't be going there again. How they cut hair doesn't justify the price. I wanted asymmetrical bob but I wasn't happy with the result, it would be in top 3 of the worst haircus I got. I had to go to a different place to correct it 3 months later. I went there for all the 5 stars in the reviews but didn't work out for me. Edit: Editing since I can't reply. I removed my first review because it was harsher, I am glad you saw it though. I think it is because of the cultural differences and because I felt bad for the stylist (because I assumed that she was recently out of training) that I didn't say anything after the experience. Also what was the point, my hair was already ruined. I wasn't even going to add a review until I received a text message from beyond veneer that suggests it is time to book a new appointment. I thought it is my responsibility to give 1 star as I came to Beyond veneer because of all the 5 stars I saw. I wish you all the best as well.

alejandra has been helping me and my hair for the past year and she has made such a difference!! my hair has never been so healthy and my curls are now sm more defined than they’ve ever been. i’ve had sm compliments on my hair ever since working with alejandra and learning how to better take care of my hair from her. every time i visit, i’m always blown away by how pretty and revived my hair looks <3
